Clinton Stay

Hillary Clinton continued her heated attacks against frontrunner Obama, claiming that the likely Repubican nominee John McCain has more experience than the Illinois senator. Hillary told reporters yesterday:

"I think that I have a lifetime of experience that I will bring to the White House. I know Senator McCain has a lifetime of experience to the White House. And Senator Obama has a speech he gave in 2002."

Keith Olbermann was less than pleased with the attack that would surely return in a McCain-Obama general election, calling the statement, "unbelievable."

Hillary is one crazy ....fill in the blank. She jumped on a man's back (Bill's) 35 years ago, stole his resume from"day one" and would not let go. Through Gennifer Flowers' 12 years, numerous other affairs, Paula Jones debacle and of couse poor Monica Lewinsky who will be forever branded. Just think Monica Lewinsky was a 21 year old "child" just as Clinton says Chelsea is her 28 year old "child". Who could take that kind of continued humiliation ? That person would truly be a power hungry, mental midget who felt that she could not accomplish anything on her own. She's run an incompetent campaign except when she is speading lies and blackening Obama's face for her ads. She is very competent at that. This is 30 year old southern politics unless you are a Republican at heart. The mother of NAFTA (passed by Clinton but championed by George H.W. Bush) now runs away from that part of her 'resume' but she will be back with NAFTA after the election. This woman is unbelievable. Now she is saying John McCain has good experience: Keating, lobbyist sponsored lobbying 'reform group', lobbyist running his campaign, wars for eternity (good for the defense lobbyist), telecom spying, torture, and a temper that a real nut would admire.. this is great experience. If this is the feminist idea of who the first woman President should be then I resign from the club.

It is far more likely that she was the brains behind him. Hillary has wanted to run for office back in their Arkansas days, however, given how sexist our nation is, it wasn't the best time. It's now or never for her. As far as the blackening of a face, I don't know if that's true, but I do know people who work in advertising and print media who say that isn't out of the ordinary; most people get touched up. Hillary is no Republican; she is what is known as a centrist. The theory that to govern effectively you must work with people on the other side of the aisle to move the country forward. .. .I find it interesting that you want a candidate that can do that (change???) but scorn the candidate that does. This means you haven't read enough books. Please do.. we have a wonderful country, but you are clearly missing some pieces of informaiton.

DUH! McCain does have more experience than Obama, and more than Hillary, too. Neither Dem. is going to win an experience fight against McCain, but the election's not going to be about (past) experience.

Just because the press is afraid of Hillary and believe her when she says she's vetted doesn't mean she is! Maybe regular people need to start shouting questions at her like they used to!

Hillary's experience includes 35 years of scandal including most recently:

from Daily Kos:

* Norman Hsu and his bundling of money for her campaign?

* How "dishwashers, waiters and others" poured "$1,000 and $2,000 contributions into Clinton's campaign treasury?"

* Bill's trip to Kazakhstan with Canadian magnate, Frank Giustra, that netted Giustra $3 billion and Bill's foundation a $131 million contribution from Giustra?

* How powerful foreign donors to Bill's presidential library, such as the Saudis, may pose a serious conflict of interest to Hillary's foreign policy actions as president?

* How Bill's tangled ties to an investment concern of Clinton friend, Ron Burkle, and it's dealings with Dubai may yet, again, threaten to compromise Hillary Clinton's execution of foreign policy as president?

* The fact that the with all of these questionable financial dealings, the Clintons have been unwilling to release their tax returns, especially in light of Hillary Clinton claiming that the $5 million she lent the campaign was "her own money?"

* And, finally, though we, as Democrats, don't care who Bill schtupps (and, no, none of us believe he has kept his fly zipped the last seven years), you can be damn sure the Republicans will be digging hard (no pun intended) to see just what Bill has been up to since leaving offic

I wonder did any of you complain when Obama ran an ad in South Carolina claiming that Hillary was lying in her ad quoting Obama's own words to a Vegas editorial board and further attacking her by claiming that she would say anything to get elected. I thought that was a wholly inaccurate statement and a pretty low blow.

OOOOOOh thats ACCEPTABLE, but when the tables are turned as in the Canadian thingy, why its sacrilegious to think another Dem would do that to a another Dem.Gooo Hill.

I have supported Hillary Clinton since 1992, but this comment is hard to forgive.

It can only help elect McCain and tear apart the Democratic Party.

Even Hillary supporters need to take pause at this....it's really unforgivable. If she can't have the White House, she wants to hand it to the Republicans. Shame-- low down and slimy -- even by Hillary "Rove" Clinton measures.

Hillary will do anything to win. As someone who use to admire her and think that she would be a good president I no longer have any respect for her.

yep just like Oblapie ehh, the race card wasa nifty little trick but it may backfire yet.

Oblapies message is starting to wear a little thin, people are tired of the same ole message of hope, they want substance and clarification as to what they can actually do.

So far HILL IS DELIVERING, Oblapie is still pining away with the hope thing, and the voter's are starting to see the distinction.

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 02:22 AM on 03/07/2008

What does Oblapie mean? What is HILL DELIVERING? I am from NY and have been a Hillary supporter since her senate run. I have donated and raised thousands of dollars over the years. I supported her in this primary and watched in disgust at the mysoginist comments of the press. But what she is now delivering is a campaign built on nasty politics and I for one can no longer support that. I will not accept winning at any cost.

We as democrats need to WAKE UP. We need to chose a candidate--either HIll or Obama is better than a repub!! We need to stop being such a confused party and become efficient. This has plagued this party for decades--and its fine time we start acting like WINNING is better than LOSING--either Obama or Hill is better than LOSING. Take a lesson from the repubs--they CHOOSE, are efficient and WIN. Romney dropped out of the race!! He could have gone on. I am tired of all of this bs and debating who is better a black man or a woman, a change message or an experience message. EITHER is better than MCCAIN--we just sadly are too caught up on ourselves to notice the republicans are better at winning and to actually do something about it!

So what happens to the Democratic Party IF Hillary wins?? What happens to the Obama so called 'Cult' following?? Do they still vote for Hillary inspite of her cannibalistic tactics?

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 11:27 PM on 03/05/2008

Sadly no. If (big if) she wins, can't see Obama supporters voting for her when she is ready willing and able to hand the White House to the Republicans. If Hillary wins by tactics like that, and we vote for her in the general -- it's like condoning her actions and sets a bad precendent for future elections. Really not sure how it would play out but so sad that she threw the entire Democratic party under the bus for her own selfish ambitions. Why doesn't the DNC step in now before it's too late?

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 03:13 AM on 03/06/2008

If they can stop whining for two minutes, they'll probably vote for her anyway, yes.

Her Hillaryship credits herself with 8 years in the White House when she spouts experience of 35 years. So she should get credit for ALL things that occured in her 8 years in the White House, much more than NAFTA.
Her denial for some of the items that occured should be ignored and should be credited to her too:
Hillary had the entire staff of the White House Travel Office fired; they were reported to the FBI for 'gross mismanagement' and their reputations ruined. After a thirty-month investigation, only one, Billy Dale, was charged with a crime - mixing personal money with White House funds when he cashed checks. The jury acquitted him in less than two hours.
Hillary recommended her former law partners, Web Hubbell, Vince Foster, and William Kennedy for positions in the Justice Department, White House staff, and the Treasury, respectively. Hubbell was later imprisoned, Foster committed suicide, and Kennedy was forced to resign. - Hillary also recommended a close friend of the Clintons, Craig Livingstone, for the position of director of White House security. When Livingstone was investigated for the improper access of up to 900 FBI files of Clinton enemies (?Filegate?) and the widespread use of drugs by White House staff, both Hillary and her husband denied knowing him. FBI agent Dennis Sculimbrene confirmed in a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing in 1996, both the drug use and Hillary's involvement in hiring Livingstone.
- Hillary assumed authority over selecting a female Attorney General. Her first two recommendations, Zoe Baird and Kimba Wood, were forced to withdraw their names from consideration. She then chose Janet Reno. Janet Reno has since been described by Bill himself as 'my worst mistake.'
And Hillary almost got herself indicted for perjury and obstruction of justice (she avoided it mostly because she repeated, 'I do not recall,' 'I have no recollection,' and 'I don't know' 56 times under oath)
Her husband pardoned FALN terrorists in order to get Latino support and the New Square Hassidim to get Jewish support for Hillary when she was running for office in NY. Hillary also had Bill pardon her brother's clients, for a small fee, to get financial support.
And I am glad she returned the furniture and other items she stole as she was leaving in 2001.

Maybe we should talk about the experience Hillary has in the White House. Lets start with Enron.

1. Enron's chairman did meet with the president and the vice president in the Oval Office.

2. Enron gave $420,000 to the president's party over three years.

3. It donated $100,000 to the president's inauguration festivities.

4. The Enron chairman stayed at the White House 11 times.

5. The corporation had access to the administration at its highest level and even enlisted the Commerce and State Departments to grease deals for it.

6. The taxpayer-supported Export-Import Bank subsidized Enron for more than $600 million in just one transaction.

BUT...the president under whom all this happened WASN'T George W. Bush.

SURPRISE!

It was President Bill Clinton!

No surprise! And do you think Hillary didn't know?

ARE WE REALLY READY FOR MRS. CLINTON?

Do you have sources for these claims? I would be very interested in seeing them... I heard that when WTC 7 mysteriously collapsed on 9/11 -- all the investigation materials on Enron were destroyed.
