Mccain Bush

Despite rhetoric about tackling corruption in Washington, John McCain does not appear too eager to look into the current administration. When asked today about supporting independent investigations into the Bush administration, McCain replied:

"I do not agree with your sentiment that there has been widespread corruption. I just don't accept that. And by the way my friends do you think it would be nice if the President of the United States got a little bit of credit for the fact that there has not been another attack on the United States of America since 9-11? I think he deserves some credit for that. I really do."

Nancy? Rahm? Now McCain just gave you the finger just like BushCo has been doing. Gave the entire country the finger. Punched that finger through the constitution.

Rahm: BushCo Lost the election of 2006, YOU DIDN'T WIN IT.

You and every dem who has hampered impeachment of Cheney,

You political careers are OVER.

It may take a few elections since we have the fascist rethugs to get rid of, but we will remember this cowardly failure to deal with the HIGHEST CRIMES in American History.

Impeach now or go down in history for dereliction of duty in our most critical hours.

Right down there with Neville Chamberland.

Future History?:

"Nancy Pelosi and Rahm Emanual refused to impeach the Bush Administration, leading to the "Armageddon Wars" of 2008. we all remember, as it looked like the democrats were going to win back the white house, Bush declared a state of emergency and waged ware against Islam for the next 10 years. After a bloody revolution, democracy was restored to the USA. Hundreds of Bush collaborators, republican, democrats, Rahm and Pelosi were tried and imprisoned for treasonous inaction in the face of an imminent threat."

Cheney wants to rule the world and Bush is a Rapture Christian, You really think they're not capable of this?

Sleep tight.

Translation:

I frankly do not give a **** about the People of the United States. I don't have to. I'm going to win the "election" because it really doesn't matter who votes -- it matter who counts the votes, and that will be a machine with no paper trail and it will "elect" me.

I will be the new Tsar, and unlike my predecessor I won't even pretend to be otherwise. You see, a "precedent" has been set: because you never enforced the Constitution against my predecessor, it only applies to me to the extent that it creates my office, that of Dictator.

I will not be so crass as to investigate my predecessor's crimes because I have been involved with them as thoroughly have all of my colleagues in the Senate and in the "Impeachment is Off The Table" House.

I will continue the relentless drive toward World War III until I have finally finished robbing all of you blind."

---

They say that pride goeth before a fall, and I certainly hope so, because unless some part of the American Republic forcefully re-asserts the Rule Of Law, there will soon be no Republic left to govern. History tells us plainly that nations rise and nations fall, and how pathetic it will be for the United States of America to collapse after only 232 years, having been ruthlessly betrayed from within by the highest officers in all three Branches of its Government. How sad it will be that history's epitaph for our country will be that the "checks and balances" system failed utterly, and that the American people lifted not a single finger to save their own nation in its moment of greatest ... and alas, final ... peril.

".... there has not been another attack on the United States of America since 9-11?"

Really? I thought those troops you supported so heartily were getting attacked every single day since shortly after 9-11. I would call that an attack on the United States of America. In the past several weeks people were attacked and injured or killed at a fast food resturant, a bus stop, and a University. Do they have to be Muslims with ill intent before we should be scared? Please John describe terror to me and then tell me how you plan to fight it and WHO you fight. These people haven't the slightest clue what to do, let alone what they are talking about.

Yawn....

No news here.

The Democratic leadership (oxymoron) has already taken this position some time ago. McCain is just his typical political, prostitute self.

Move along.... Nothing to see here (The weak kneed Democrats have already given the criminal Bush the "get out of jail card").

It amazes me too that the spineless democrats are about to cave to Bush again. They simply are the most uninspiring, weak, cowards. It's not headline worthy that a Republican would allow the crimial Bush to go unpunished, and unfortunaty, it seems even less headline worthy that the DEMOCRATS are about to retroactively wash away Bush and his corporate henchmen's high crimes of unregulated, and illegal spying on millions of Americans. Land of the free and home of the brave, my ass.

Senator McCain, a decorated war hero, with an exceptional record of bi-partisan legislative accomplishment, has abandoned his lifetime of principles for the best opportunity to win the Presidency of the United States as the Republican nominee. It is nauseating to see a man completely prostitute his beliefs for political gain, but I never believed Senator McCain would turn his back on the mistreatment and sacrifice of our armed forces - and with his implicit refusal of investigating the Bush administration - the greatest foreign relations, military, intelligence, and economic disaster of our lifetime will be abandoned and likely forgotten as the government becomes buried under the burden of a three trillion dollar debt and numerous domestic, foreign, and industrial crisis. This is hardly anything new, President Reagan came through unscathed, President Clinton was able to somehow play the victim card and sickeningly avoid prosecution, and so it will be with President Bush - if Senator McCain is true to his word - which lately is not as reliable as it used to be in the past.

This quote really is "Alice in Wonderland" stuff. And this, in a nutshell is why the Democrats must win in November.

HRC, here's real experience for a senior Senator that you said has more "experience" than your current competitor. Why in the heck would would they expend resources to attack us here when, using minimal resources in Iraq & Afghanistan, they're killing Americans in a target rich environment; causing us to over commit troops and create tremendous family, personal, and medical problems for thousands more Americans for years to come; watching us trash our military equipment; creating a black hole for over a $trillion$ that is disrupting our economy; creating significant turmoil among Americans who are either opposed or in favor of the invasion and occupation; securing better regional relationships with neighbors, such as Iran; giving us the opportunity to turn more and more nations against our militant international behavior; and generally bringing the once most powerful Nation in the world to its knees? Does W deserve some credit for creating this mess? Yep - him and the Congress. Way to go!

If Bush had read the security alerts- we wouldn't have had the first attack! We are so much more unsafe now. We are pouring oil money in our enemies economonies while crippling our own economy. Add to that torture, illegal spying, asternomical spending, misleading us with the war intelligence, politicizing the justice department, and rampant, overwhelming incompetence!

You want us to thank our president for this.

I think NOT!

in case you haven't figured it out yet, the dnc heirarchy, including bill and hillary clinton, is firmly in george bush and karl rove's pockets

pelosi couldn't get impeachment "off the table" fast enough

today, pelosi / reid & co. are giving bush everything he wants and needs to put the finishing touches on his illegal wiretapping operation and the telecom's immunity - they have consistently and totally (and willfully) failed in their duty to provide accountability and oversight to the bush white house

there has never been a proper and credible investigation into the events of 9/11 even though there is so much evidence which directly contradicts the phony cover-up which the democrats happily (and inexplicably) rubber stamped - the sham investigation never asked a question it didn't want an answer to, like WTC7, for instance

Consider the lack of an attack as a credit on his sentence. That's a 10 year reduction in friggin eternity, which is still not enough time for Bush et al to pay for the crimes they have committed. People, we HUNG the Nazis at Nuremberg for THE SAME THING BUSH DID TO IRAQ. The. Same. Thing. Period. The President of the Untied States is a war criminal, and that's a fact. And the government of the so-called freest, bestest, and most neato-keen country on this Earth will do not one thing about it.
I kinda feel sick. How do you deal with being the moral equivalent to a German circa 1944?
