Bush Talking
John McCain came to the White House today to accept the endorsement of President Bush. While waiting for McCain to arrive, Bush stood on the North Portico and talked up a storm. However, his microphone wasn't turned on, so we'd like to ask our readers what they thought Bush was saying, especially when he chuckles and winks.

Post what you think Bush said in the comments below. And make sure to comment on Bush's soft-shoe routine towards the end of the video

HuffPost is moderating comments in this thread, just in case any of our dear members try to slip in simply nasty comments about Bush. Please try to exercise some self-restraint while pondering the silent language of our President.

Bush's microphone was not turned on, and so he appeared to be talking to himself as he waited for John McCain to arrive at the White House for lunch. Bush also did a tap dance at one point. http://link.brightcove.com/services/link/bcpid1444170168http://www.brightcove.com/channel.jsp?channel=1178199204

I work at the cashier window of a welfare office, and clients who come in often fidget and sway back and forth from one foot to the other, exactly as Bush is doing in this clip. The clients do it so often that I asked a psychologist friend here what that sort of behavior indicates. He said it is body language for "I'm uncomfortable and I don't want to be here."

I would suspect that is not quite the "leadership" message that the pResident wants to convey, but, it is what it is, eh?

The tap-dancing routine:

"And this is how I got the pretzel dislodged -- watch!"

If only he didn't destroy our economy, ruin our environment, lead to the deaths of hundreds of thousands in Iraq, or ruin our good will with the rest of the world, you could almost really like him

For me it doesn’t matter who wins, so long as we don’t spend another 3 trillion dollars in Middle East. Hell their brothers “Arabs” next door aren’t spending a penny. They don’t care, why should we. We should care about our own people here at home. And don’t tell me it’s about terrorism because that’s bull. It’s all about oil, and the funny thing is we are paying more today than before the war. Just today barrel of crude oil hit $104, and that will equate at least $4 a gallon by this summer. We are spending more of our tax dollars there then here. Today if you make a mistake in your tax return of more than $50, the IRS will be at your door the next day. Yet this administration is spending our tax dollars like chum change, with no oversight where the money is going. This is ridicules!!!

I don't even need to see this clip to recognize from the photo that Mr Bush has little if any respect left for the institutions of this nation, including the dignity of the office he occupies. His is likely the dance of a delighted ten-year-old told he doesn't have to do any more chores around the house.
