Politico:

David Weigel makes a fairly persuasive case that -- contrary to my instincts about tactical voting -- Rush Limbaugh's calls on Republicans to vote for Hillary had a real impact.

Go and check the exit polls. In Wisconsin, Republicans made up 9 percent of the Democratic primary vote. Obama won them 72-28 over Clinton. Just as tellingly, 14 percent of primary voters said they were "conservative," and Obama won them 59-40, a bigger margin than he won with liberals or moderates. Tactical voters who said Obama stood a better chance of winning in November? They went for him 87-13.

There is some small consolation in seeing Rush Limbaugh do what nobody else could: Make Hilary Clinton President of the United States.

Congrats to Rush.

The consolation is that maybe finally, finally, it will dawn on his listeners that their great guru doesn't have the slightest idea what he's talking about. Rush just talks. If you listen critically you will see that half of it doesn't make any sense on a rational level.

Hopefully this latest episode will give his listeners the glimmer of light that will open their minds to further skeptical thinking and the ultimate revelation that they have been listening to somembody high on drugs.

President Hillary Clinton = big bucks for Rush. He needs someone to hate for his ratings and she is his highest hope for that to come about. He knows exactly of what he speaks -- he loves Hillary as to him she is pure profit.

You've got that right! During Bill's presidency Rush obsessed about the Clintons to the point of delusion. This appeals to the demographic of frightened white men who don't engage in critical thinking but rather need someone who will feed their hatreds.

Since Rush does it all for the money, and since he has a huge throng of followers, let's pool our funds and pay Rush to jump off a bridge.

I heard Bill Clinton on Rush Limbaugh and he was lying his a** off. Said that Obama campained in FL and get this, the candidates took their names off the ballot in Michigan because they knew Hillary was going to win. He lies when the truth would work better. Geez.

At the end of the day Hillary will net 6-8 delegates. She trashed Obama, the party and misled voters for
a few delegates. Sounds a lot like the president we got right now.

The relevant part of the Politico item is...

'It's a similar story in Texas, where Limbaugh has the most listeners of any of these states. Obama won the Republican vote 52-47, but conservatives (22 percent of all voters, up from 15 percent in the Kerry-Edwards primary) went against Obama. For the first time, they were Clinton's best ideological group: She won them 53-43. And Clinton won 13 percent of the people who said Obama was the most electable candidate.'

If you assume that Limbo's people are all Repos, then they're not doing as they're told, as those

who voted in Demo primary and *claimed* to be Repos also said they were voting for Obama (52%)

over Clinton (47%) in the CNN exit polls. Conclusion: don't assume Limbo's people are all Repos.

Hillary needs to be vetted: from Daily KOS

Have any of her Democratic opponents, including Obama, sought more detailed answers from her about stories such as:
* Norman Hsu and his bundling of money for her campaign?
* How "dishwashers, waiters and others" poured "$1,000 and $2,000 contributions into Clinton's campaign treasury?"
* Bill's trip to Kazakhstan with Canadian magnate, Frank Giustra, that netted Giustra $3 billion and Bill's foundation a $131 million contribution from Giustra?
* How powerful foreign donors to Bill's presidential library, such as the Saudis, may pose a serious conflict of interest to Hillary's foreign policy actions as president?
* How Bill's tangled ties to an investment concern of Clinton friend, Ron Burkle, and it's dealings with Dubai may yet, again, threaten to compromise Hillary Clinton's execution of foreign policy as president?
* The fact that the with all of these questionable financial dealings, the Clintons have been unwilling to release their tax returns, especially in light of Hillary Clinton claiming that the $5 million she lent the campaign was "her own money?"
* And, finally, though we, as Democrats, don't care who Bill schtupps (and, no, none of us believe he has kept his fly zipped the last seven years), you can be damn sure the Republicans will be digging hard (no pun intended) to see just what Bill has been up to since leaving offic

Bill Clinton was interviewed on the Rush Limbaugh show yesterday.
Let's think about this for a moment.
Bill Clinton, a democrat, who many consider the leader of the party....Bill Clinton, democratic president of USA for 8 years went on and gave an interview on Rush's show, to an audience of millions of right wingers.... went on the show with the sole purpose of trashing Barack Obama.
Let's think about this, really think about this.
Yes, it's obvious he was reaching out to the dittoheads to cross over and vote for Hillary but.....I don't know, Is it just me? Am I the only one who is outraged by this ?
All these years I had the utmost respect for Bill. For this man...this man.....to take our parties issues and conflicts over to the lunatic fringe of the republican party ....????

Now you Democrats can see why the real Republicans of old, including myself, an ex-Republican, disliked the Clintons because of the disengenuousness and their lack of integrity. Some have said for years, that these people would compromise their souls, if they thought it would benefit their political ambitions. And that they seem to have a very flawed and far less than accurate moral compass, and now the Dems are beginnging to see that light, that the rest of us, who are less pollyanna about politics, saw early on, in these people.
It would not surprise me if Bill went on the Micheal Savage radio program to sell his snake oil, if he thought that it would profit Hillary in anyway. That fact is, that many of you Dems thought that we were off our rocker and just into a great conspiricy against the Clintons, and I have to admit that some of us went overboard with our contempt for them and I'm not proud of that nor will I take responsibility for that either. Simply because I thought it crossed a line that I was not willing to cross. But as far as the overall discuss for them , I'm not ashamed to say, that I shared it with the rest of the Republicans. And unfortunately, and I'm willing to bet, that in due time, most Democrats will come the same conclusion that I and many real Republicans reach many years ago about these people. May the Lord have mercy on them.

Limbaugh's desperate to get his cash cow- the Clintons back where he can feed off of them.
He's a vulture with no class,
with his head spiked way up his- where sun don't shine.

Will this loser ever just go away?

The Clintons and Limbaugh team up to defeat Obama - this is pathetic.

Absolutely bogus report:

1 - More republicans voted for Obama than Clinton (53% for Obama, 46% for Clinto). Who do you think they will vote for in Nov.
2 - Of the 15% of people who believe neither Obama nor Clinton has a clear plan for the country (read Republicans voting tactically), 53% voted for Obama, 45% for Clinton. Who do you think they will vote for in Nov.

Further scandals that have plagued Hillary Clinton recently include but are not limited to:

Norman Hsu, a fundraiser and donor to Hillary Clinton that was a fugitive of the law for over a decade;

Samuel Rivera, Mayor of New Jersey and a Clinton supporter, recently arrested for corruption;

The very public "Paul vs Clinton" legal battle where Hillary will have to testify under oath about Hillary Clinton’s Senate campaign understating over $750,000 in contributions to her 2000 Senate campaign, from one Peter Paul, that will be heard in Los Angeles Superior Court.

Hillary’s campaign initially denied even knowing Peter Paul, and then later, admitted meeting him but never had a conversation regarding his contribution to her campaign;

Hillary Clinton's association with the 527 Group, America Coming Together, financed by George Soros, which has been fined $775,000 for violating campaign finance laws.

Her association with that group is via, Harold Ickes, president of America Coming Together, who just "happened" to be a former Bill Clinton Top Aide.

Clinton often refers to criticisms about her as a "Vast Right Wing Conspiracy" but the fact of the matter is, if these situations of her own making did not exist, that conspiracy would have no ammunition against her.

Obama is the candidate who gets 20,000 people at his rallies.
He is still ahead of Hillary
So I don't know what she is crowing about today.
Hillary needs to get out,
she can't win, Obama won more states and has the popular vote.
So she is going to the same place as Huckabee.

Are you serious?? This has been a democrat tactic in the last several elections to throw the republican elections off. In every state where it is allowed, the democrats were urged to vote for the republican that they wished to see in the general election. Now that it is done to the democrats, legally, it is a travesty. Deal with it...Hillary vs. Barack will continue a little longer and with that battle will come dirt and mud that will be used by McCain in the general election. Isn't this fun??

This is great! This is exactly why Rush did what he did. It will only get dirtier and messier with both Obama and Clinton competing for the nomination and Rush knows it. What he also knows is that democrats have been doing this to the republicans for years. The whole crossover vote has just bitten back. The real winner here is the democratic process!!

Now that's screwed up "logic" if ever there were any!

Mabo, if you think the democratic process is assisted by the sabotage of primary elections, then why don't you just pay someone to vote. Maybe you did. If you bothered to vote at all.

If you have any links or stats to back up your assertion that democrats have been "doing this" to republicans for years, let's have it.

Waaah!! It is legal. Both Texas and Ohio allow people to switch over and vote for whoever they wish, even if they vote differently in the general election. To pretend that the democrats haven't been taking advantage of this in past years is silly.

Hillary was talking on one of the morning TV shows about the possibility of a joint Clinton-Obama ticket - with her on top, of course.

I dunno if that is so great - I think "Been there, done that" applies.

We had Gore - the person who was right about environmental concerns - under Clinton - the person that fired up a massive increase in pollution generation all over the world as a result of his free trade policies that biased manufacturing towards those countries that didn't face the costs of pollution control due to the absence of environmental laws.

That made Gore ineffectual, much to America's and the world's misfortune.

Anybody really think that Obama's quest to do the right thing would be able to overcome Hillary's quest to do the bidding of the profit-oriented special interests in such a future?
