Did Limbaugh Swing Texas For Clinton?

David Weigel makes a fairly persuasive case that -- contrary to my instincts about tactical voting -- Rush Limbaugh's calls on Republicans to vote for Hillary had a real impact.

Go and check the exit polls. In Wisconsin, Republicans made up 9 percent of the Democratic primary vote. Obama won them 72-28 over Clinton. Just as tellingly, 14 percent of primary voters said they were "conservative," and Obama won them 59-40, a bigger margin than he won with liberals or moderates. Tactical voters who said Obama stood a better chance of winning in November? They went for him 87-13.

I think many Americans are realizing the Clintons are pretty good. Hillary has a lot of guts standing up to the Republican and Obama attack and smear machine.

It is shocking to realize how many democrats are willing participants in Hillary Clinton's disgusting campaign. We had forgotten that about 20 percent of democrats always supported the war and there are some white democrats who would never vote for a black candidate and add on those poor older uneducated women that Hillary has frightened along with latinos and you have her coalition. This is a hard reality for liberal democrats to take but we must face reality. There are a large number of right wing democrats out there and they are standing up for Hillary.

Alas... Countess you are right. Inside Hillary Clinton (and her supporters) is a Joe Lieberman waiting to get out. If she wins the nomination, she will veer so far to right on foreign policy it will be scary. Look to see if Florida is rerun. Hillary will practically promise to invade Cuba if elected.
