Glenn Beck Watch: 'Is Obama The Anti-Christ?'

While thousands of Americans went to the polls last night, flushed with the civic pride and enthusiasm that comes when careful consideration and a sense of responsibility culminates in the casting of a vote, CNN's Glenn Beck was honoring the day over at his eponymous Headline News show. There, he was brave enough to ask the tough questions - if, by "brave" we mean "obtuse" and by "tough" we mean "inane."

Yea, verily, last night, Glenn Beck hosted anti-Catholic bigot/fervent John McCain supporter John Hagee. And lo, there was a sound that arose from deep in Beck's wordhole. And those sounds formed a question that sounded out across the airwaves unto disbelieving ears. That question: "Is Barack Obama the anti-Christ."

We are not making this up. Glenn Beck, serious newsman, needed to find out if Barack Obama was the Devourer of Worlds, Son of Harlots, Bearer of the Mark of the Beast. John Hagee had to be thrilled by the question: somehow, Beck managed to make Hagee look reasonable.

Jesus wept. Watch for yourself:

BECK: Let me ask you, I get so much e-mail on this and I think a lot of people do, and I've got a couple of seconds. They say Glenn, you and the media, you got to wake up. Barack Obama's making people faint and cry and everything else. He's drawing people in. There are people -- they said this about Bill Clinton -- that actually believe he might be the anti-Christ. Odds that Barack Obama is the anti-Christ.

HAGEE: No chance. He has a lot of charisma. There's a media love affair with him right now. He is a very formidable political person. I believe the best leader for America in the future is John McCain.

BECK: Thank you very much, pastor. Back in just a second. That's good news, at least where I stand.

Your mere asertion that belief in any God as opposed to faith in mankind would certainly cause extreme chaos in the short term with evangelicals and such running around blindly bludgeoning themselves into glorious rapture. However, if your proposed "enlightenment" to recognize the "fairy-tale" scenario really occured, and happened throughout the world, the human race would finally take the next leap in evolutionary ascension. Who knows, we might even learn to treat each other with dignity and respect instead of fear and jealousy.

This story is too weird. A co-worker and I were talking about a month ago, I was telling him how Obama kind of creeped me out. I said that he reminded me of "Damien" from The Omen. How in the future he was to take over the world. Crazy to say the least. But Obama does creep me out. My co-worker, two weeks ago, showed me an article from some online website, a nun was talking about Obama and he was a dangerous man, and I think the "anti-christ" was mentioned. I thought I was the only one who was kinda creeped out by this guy. Now I am on THIS site and there is an article about this "anti-christ" thing. Very creepy. I am not alone.

Remember in The Omen, the second one, it was about the food supply. The bad guys wanted to grow food in a lab, so to speak. Just like we have today. hybrid tomatoes anyone? And now the last few months, we have heard about the "bees" and how they were no where to be found. This is a bad thing for our food supply. Now our food will have to be grown in "labs" . One report mentioned the pesticides involved in farming, how it was confusing the "bees". Does Obama own any stock in any pesticide company or a genitic food company? LOL! Just asking. I know this is insane. But it all is just too weird.

And I do think John Hagin is some kind of nut. Just like you think of me right now. But I tell ya, what I wrote was true. Obama started creeping me out a couple months ago. I don't trust this guy. Everyone is just too bedazzled by him. Something just creeps me out. And I really am not like this.
