Election Central has obtained a copy of a new anti-McCain ad sponsored by the group Campaign To Defend America:

The Campaign to Defend America -- which will be running ads on issues like Iraq, the economy, energy, and health care, from a bent that appears to be pro-Democratic -- is spending more than $1,000,000 on the buy, the group tells me.

Loved the graphics, and especially the carnival music in the background: (The misleading "Merry-Go-Round" of "experienced politicians".)

If only the word "PRIAPISM" could be worked into the copy:

"Priapism (Ancient Greek: πριαπισμός) is a potentially harmful medical condition in which the erect penis does not return to its flaccid state (despite the absence of both physical and psychological stimulation) within about four hours.

'The name comes from the Greek god Priapus, referring to the myth that he was ironically punished by the other gods for attempting to rape a goddess, by being given a huge (but useless) set of wooden genitals."

But, there's something worse than impotent about a foreign policy that eats it's young.

Well then you better tell your saviour to stop funding this mess in Iraq. A mess, BTW that was caused by bush, cheney, rumsfeld, rice, wolfowitz, libby, powell....et al. Not Hillary. This is why I no longer support obama. It shameful for him to pin the war on Hillary. A fellow democrat.

This election will be won or lost based on which candidate earns the majority of the independent and moderate votes. This ad is not going to find much appeal for those in the middle.

I disagree... very much appeals to moderates and independents. I don't know of any that get that "same old 2000 feeling" that we had for McCain in this year of 2008.
