Former Republican presidential candidate Bob Dole said Wednesday night that current White House hopeful John McCain has a temper -- but added the Arizona senator "can control it."

Dole told CNN's Larry King that his former Senate colleague "does have a... I guess you could say temper. But I always sort of rationalized that because the poor guy had been locked up" in a tiny cell for six years. But McCain, he said, "can control it. It's not a problem anymore."

Last Sunday when I finished phone banking for Obama, I was chatting with our house party hostess, a therapist/counselor. She said her experience working with Vietnam vets led her to conclude that anyone who had been imprisoned and tortured for 5.5 years would carry the severe psychological effects of that his whole life. She felt that McCain's enthusiasm for years of war and for attacking Iran was his need to replay the Vietnam war, only win it this time.

I am having trouble sorting it all out. Which is the original and which the clone between Hillary Clinton and John (alias Uriah Heep) McCain?

McCains hatred festers in his jaw line....
It will reveal itself very soon and this will lose him whatever support he has left.
McCain is going down.
Why do you think hes going to Europe in the middle of a campaign...

BTW:
RP has not quit.
He is letting them take each other down.
McCain can not survive this.
Hes too dirty, so is Hillary.
They screwed up by playing roulette with the primary dates.
they took a chance and it back fired on them.
NOW THE DIRT WILL surface.
DIRT WE NEVER EVEN DREAMED OF HEARING!

Stay tuned.
Its not over till the people sing!

I don't think McCain's temper can be that bad -- otherwise how could he have kept from kicking George Bush's butt when Bush starts his endorsement by reminding everyone that McCain almost lost the nomination. See the video here:

"If McCain is truly a serious contender for the presidency, it is time the rest of the nation learned about the John McCain we know in Arizona. There is also reason to seriously question whether he has the temperament, and the political approach and skills, we want in the next president of the United States."

John McCain is a war mongering lunatic. If he gets elected thousands more American soldiers will get killed

Absolutely!

Will McWar bring back the Draft or continue Bush's policy of hiring mercenary armies and

paying them with our tax dollars?

Answer: Bush's Mercenary Armies are no longer viable so McWar will bring back the Draft.

.

Not many people know that McCain actually received his injuries in Vietnam when he forgot to put the top back on his tube of toothpaste and became somewhat angry with himself.

True story.

I'm not sure Bob Dole is being honest here.

Well, he's a republican, so you should be not sure.

His having a temper is no reason to vote for or not vote for McCain. His having superior political and diplomatic skills would be. Or, even his having good, sound, reasoned judgement and a strong social conscience. Does he have these? Nah, but he does have the retarded codpieceboy's full support.

My friends, my friends, sorry about that little slip on the nuclear button, but hey I've had a good life, enjoy the fallout and remember nuclear winter is a valid cure for global warming.

Exactly! Would anyone in their right mind want a hothead answering THAT phone at 3 AM besides Hillary Clinton. For me, I'd like someone who is cool and calm taking that call and Obama fits that mold.

Sorry Bob but it is well documented that McCain's temper existed before his POW days. Thanks for telling the truth.
