As HuffPost previously reported, Mark Penn, Hillary Clinton's chief strategist, is angering his D.C. neighbors by undertaking multi-million dollar renovations on his Georgetown townhouse without alerting anyone beforehand. One neighborhood local says, "It includes an underground garage and home office. His yard is an ugly, huge gaping hole that looks like the descent into hell. Then he put a Port-a-Potty on the lawn."

watch hillary milk her donors, and right before she gets out of the race, drop huge sums of campaign money on penn, ickles, etc. all the big shots in her campaign will receive huge payouts. hasn't penn already received $10mil? next thing all the big shots make big 'contributions' to the clinton library, and wa-la the money winds up right back in hillarys hand.

From the picture I would say that it's architecturally uninteresting. I hope it's better on the inside. And as for having a port-a-potty on the front lawn: how do you think this works; workers don't use the homeowners bathroom unless it's specifically worked out before hand, it's just manners.

If he did that in Palo Alto, he probably could be taken to court for doing major renovation work without a permit. On the other hand, if he DOES have a permit, then his neighbors should be taking it up with the District government office responsible (SIC) for such matters. By the way, unless I am mistaken, Palo Alto REQUIRES some form of portable potty (along with regularly scheduled pickups) for the renovation workers.
