Cannotrustclinton.com? clintonisbad.com? At least 25 domain names related to Hillary Rodham Clinton have links to the Republican National Committee: the names were either registered by the R.N.C. last year or showed up on servers the committee uses. Half a dozen seemed to guess at Mrs. Clinton's eventual running mate, like clintonomalley.com, referring to Gov. Martin O'Malley of Maryland.

The day after Barack Obama won the Iowa caucuses, the R.N.C. snapped up at least 20 domains related to his candidacy. Some of them may signal the party's future strategy: baracknotready.com and norealexperience.com. The party has also begun preemptively registering domains that could be used to attack John McCain, like mccainamigos.com, voteagainstmccain.com, flipflopmccain.com and hatemccain.com (ihatemccain.com was taken.)

Once again, the Democrats underestimate the evilness and cunning of the enemy. Democrats, WAKE UP!

The Republicans, while fascist, do not underestimate the surfing habits nor stupidity of the voting public. These kind of negative web sites DO make a difference.

If you are complacent and try to run a campaign on higher moral ground than the Republicans, you will lose, again, unbelievable as it sounds.

You wrestle a pig, expect to get dirty. And this is what the upcoming election will be, once again.

Wow it's amazing. It seems that they have a plan for the election, but couldn't seem to toss a workable one together for the war...

republicans are like fox news- "fair and balanced"(what a joke). i hope they didn't pay for the domains with a check, cause i heard they were broke. the names they bought on mc cain were pretty telling about his true nature.

The American public will have to be deaf, dumb and blind to fall for the Republican's crap this time, but the American public, way too often, surprises me.

This may seem like a brilliant move to the RNC brain trust but maybe some one should have told them to spend time with the line of internet idiots who ran against each other in the recent primary. between the lot of them the only one with a lick of tech savvy was Ron Paul. Having the names doesn't mean this people will have a clue how to use them effectively. Honestly, I'm not worried about anything the GOP does. They are grasping at straws rather than attempting to deal with their internal problems (failed policies, sycophant politicians, Bush/Cheney come to mind as problems). I agree let the cyberwars begin since it is a war the GOP won't win.

They do seem to have taken their "eye off the ball." While they had Chris Matthews ragging about Hillary, John McCain sneaked in and pulled the wool over their eyes. Now they have a candidate they hate, and they are all disheveled. BUT, they still own the media and that's wherein the problem lies. We can't take anything for granted.

Indeed. Repubs will pay the price for their opposition to net neutrality.
