Nobel Winner: Hillary's Northern Ireland Peace Claims A "Wee Bit Silly"

Hillary Clinton had no direct role in bringing peace to Northern Ireland and is a "wee bit silly" for exaggerating the part she played, according to Lord Trimble of Lisnagarvey, the Nobel Peace Prize winner and former First Minister of the province.

"I don't know there was much she did apart from accompanying Bill [Clinton] going around," he said. Her recent statements about being deeply involved were merely "the sort of thing people put in their canvassing leaflets" during elections. "She visited when things were happening, saw what was going on, she can certainly say it was part of her experience. I don't want to rain on the thing for her but being a cheerleader for something is slightly different from being a principal player."

can someone tell me what Obama's foreign policy experience is? Here is what I'm aware of

1. He has been against the Iraq war from the beginning. This is good

2. He is the chairman of a senate sub committee for which he hasn't had time to hold a meeting. Isn't this a bit of resume padding on his part?

3. He wants to sit down face to face in a presidential level meeting with all of our enemies and discuss our differences. Except not with Hamas because they don't recognize Israel's right to exist. But, he will meet with Iran even though they don't recognize Israel's right to exist.

OK, as far as I know this is all of his experience. Except I guess 3. above isn't really experience, it's more a policy position.

Its a silly argument that Hillary has raised, and her supporters are even sillier trying to follow it.

We have a constitution. We have scores and scores of treaties and agreements with every country in the book.

We have - rather we used to have, a military prepped and ready to go in the even we were threatened,
and we have the United Nations to help settle disputes..

We have a diplomatic force, at one time second to none, with years and years of experience before they all got replaced with Bush's no nothings..­. but they're still out there ready to serve.

If Hillary or Obama have read a single book about another nation, they are ahead of where George Bush was when he took office.... it could not possibly get worse.

Obama, at least, is a thoughtful student of the world.... he has most of the democratic elder statesmen in America behind him. He will do just fine.

When queried about her vast foreign policy experience, which has been thoroughly debunked by several third-party experts a significant portion of Senator Clinton's response is helping to bring peace to Northern Ireland, ending hundreds of years of armed struggle. All major parties involved have stated any contribution she made was ancillary. . .so ABSOLUTELY FALSE.

It is great to debate the positions, but the truth simply is not up for debate.

4.- what actual securitiy crisis experience has she ever handled?

By playing the 'experience' card she's convincing voters to turn to McCain who actually has real experience in all the areas she lacks.

That is her real achilles heel......­she's all talk, no REAL experience.
