Via AmericaBlog:

Tonight on his show, Keith Olbermann eviscerated Hillary Clinton for a good ten minutes for promoting John McCain's presidency over her fellow Democrats. He compared her to Joe Lieberman. He asked "is she equating her time in the East Wing with McCain's time in the Hanoi Hilton?" You have got to watch these videos. They're devastating in only the way that Keith can be.

Keith, I fear that you are treading on that dangerous ground where we become what we hate. You are sounding more and more like FOX Noise. Who are you to say what a candidate must or must not say??? You are becoming full of yourself, and that's too bad, because you have been so brave and honest in the past.

Keith is one of the few journalists who has really focused on this highly unusual endorsement of a Republican Presidential candidate by a Democrat running for President. It is true, however that McCain and Clinton are carbon copies of each other. Clinton no more has the intention of getting us out of Iraq than does McCain, her triangulation notwithstanding. A 100 years will be good for her, too. She has been a willing enabler of the Bush war and occupation policy. The issue she raises though is why anyone would vote for her over McCain, since according to her own criteria, he passed the commander in chief threshold long before she did and has direct military experience. Why vote for a Joe Lieberman Democrat, when you can have the genuine military man in John McCain. I think as Democrats, however, we should petition the DNC to call for Mrs. Clinton's removal as a candidate since she has endorsed the Republican candidate thereby sabotaging not only Mr. Obama's candidancy, but her own as well. She's no Democrat, but a closet neocon Republican.

Don't care what Keith says anymore. When he started going off on Jon Stewart about the Gaydolf Hitler thing, he revealed himself to be a humorless, hypocritcal, partisan tool.

Jon Stewart has lost his viewers by his Hillary worship. His disgusting Barak Hussien Obama slam at the Oscars was the last straw for me. Keith was right about the Hitler thing-it was beyond bizarre.

I can not stand watching him anymore.I am not alone.

In fact, the Oscar's audience rating was surprisingly low ... I turned the channel early on. Never understood his attempt at humor nor why he was asked to return as a host.

After his performance, no surprise Mrs. Clinton appeared on his show ... a tad bit transparent.

Oh puh-lease. Jon Stewart worshipping Hillary? He's an equal opportunity mocker. And the only thing that's bizarre is the fact that Obama supporters have turned on Stewart because their candidate isn't exempt.

Same here, my moment came with Shuster. The campaign coverage with Mathews is way, way over the top. Sorry Keith, but fair and balanced coverage of Democrats I rely on faux news.

Lately, the only televised campaign coverage I can stomach (besides Stewart, Colbert and Maher )is Dan Abrams factcheck tally of the candidates recent mistatements/blunders. It's based on fact (rather than speculation, amateur psychology and tea leaf reading) and really seems to be fair and balanced.
But I guess that just proves I'm a Hillary (and/or McCain) supporter to some idiots.

I used to love Olbermann, but I can't watch him anymore due to his attacks on all things Clinton. I just don't understand why the media refuses to vet Obama before becoming his minion.

Keith O. is right. Someone need to remind that biplolar fool she is a Democrat and she don't get on national T.V. TWICE and praise her friend McCain and then trash her Democrat colleague. Even George Bush has complimented her. She has voted the same as McCain on several issues . She was caught lying about Obama contacting Canada when it was her campaign who contacted Canada. CNN did fact check about her foreign experience and found she was lying. She is not transparent about her income tax endless other dealings. She and Bill Clinton even took a picture with Rezko. She openly parade these non-Democrat qualities to her supporters and for the life of me I can't see why they can't see it. I have resolved to the fact McCain will win the nomination because most ofHillary supporters will not vote for Obama and most of Obama supporters will not vote for Hillary. I know there is no way I wil vote for Hillary Clinton, the Republican. I deeply loathe that woman.

Hilarious to me that the whackos at Huffingtonpost, Kos and MSNBC can't handle Clinton offering kind words to McCain, and saying that they were FRIENDS! Come on, is this the "new kind of politics" that Obama is trumpeting? Where we can't be friends, and we can't point out each other's political strength and weaknesses?

Somehow I imagine that your opinion would not be the same if this was the other way around and it was Obama sticking up for his "buddy" McCain. Hillary can pal around with McCain all she wants when they're both back serving in the Senate together in 2009, which, despite my previous support of her, is where I believe she deserves to end up with these types of Party-traitor tactics. The wasn't Hillary defending McCain from some scurrilous attack or from being unfairly swift-boated, this was her blatantly endorsing a McCain candidacy over that of Obama, her supposed fellow Democrat. Plus, you can bet McCain wouldn't have done the same for her, lest we forget his laughter (albeit uncomfortable) when one of his supporters referred to her at "the bitch."

Exactly. This is Obama's enlightened politics "If you say something nice about someone who isn't me, you're evil and mean and unfair and destroying the party and...and...I just wanna cry!!"

Olbermann is great! He is the only one out there with enough balls to speak the truth about McClinton. The news covered the Canadian NAFTA issue for days when it was about Obama, but didn't even mention that the McClinton camp called the Canadian officials and gave the "wink wink." Except Olbermann. He is the only cable news show I am watching these days because I'm so sick of the Hillary slant on the other news shows. McClinton has no loyalty to the Democratic Party, she keeps lining herself up with McCain. I guess war hawks stick together.

I, too, refuse to watch other cable news programs at this point. Olbermann is the only news anchor delivering authentic reports, from special comments to questioning the veracity of slanted media reports from other networks.

As Americans, we should be outraged not only at the tactics of the Clinton campaign, but also at the audacity of elevating the candidate of the opposition party over a democratic candidate currently leading in delegate counts.

I am afraid you are right.

The Super Delegates are spineless useless cowards. They are supposed to defend the party at all costs from enemies without and within.

If they can not see Clinton in the 90s and now are the enemy withing-then there is no hope here.

The open campaigning and support from a Democratic Candidate for a REPUBLICAN candidate has to be the last straw. It has to be the line no democrat should cross.

Will they do anything? I doubt it. Again, they are spineless cowards.

and just what would the DNC do, they can't even pick there noses correctly, they certainly can't pick a candidate and they have shown even with majoritys in both houses, they are not up to the task of running this country, as for olbermann i like his passion for baseball but he is a political hack thats why he is tied to o'reilly.

meanwhile Obama's staffer calls Hilary a monster and was then fired after aplogizing.....
"Last Monday, I made inexcusable remarks that are at marked variance from my oft-stated admiration for Senator Clinton and from the spirit, tenor, and purpose of the Obama campaign"

Obamatrons seem to have no restraint -one of the reasons I'm afraid what they'll do to "unify the country"

If Hillary loses nomination don't be surprised if the Clintons support McCain.

Dailykos on Connecticut Senate Race,
President Clinton, on the other hand, probably provided the singular destructive post-primary moment of anyone outside the campaign. He provided every national Democrat the cover they needed to stay out of the race in one single moment on Larry King Live. He said he wasn't too concerned about who won the election between Ned and Joe. Mind you, this was post-primary, and he was pretty much the first big-name national Democrat to do so. When he was asked to put out a statement clarifying that he supported Ned, we were told he was on vacation, but one would be forthcoming. Well, we got one mealy-mouthed sentence a few days later. He never made it right. Ever.

She knows she has lost already. This slash and burn is her pathway to her VP spot with McCain. She will get to the WH one way or another.

She is a NAFTA loving NEO-Con. All of her health care bullshit is bullshit. She lies, cheats and steals. She is the wife of an Impeached Liar. All that experience she touts came from watching an experienced and manipulative liar.

They destroyed the Party in the 90s-sent it to the desert, lost the Congress, the moral high ground, ensured 8 years of Bush, ensure the war in Iraq, lost the Supreme Court.

What more do voters need to decide?

What wore do the Super Delegates need?

For god sake.

Hillary's scorched earth attacks on Obama in praising John McInsane demonstrates a fundamental difference between her and Obama. Hillary is the consumet Washington beltway politician who has friends in all the high places like the repigs and the lobbyiests. She will not betray her friendship with them for some upstart like Obama who has the adauscity to challenge her rightful ascendence to the office of POTUS. It's like she and McInsane have made a deal to keep it amongst themeselves and make certain no outside like Obama gets in and upset the golden Goose they have between them.

Hillary is all about being a Washington insider and damn anyone who won't buy her crap.

I would like to commend Keith Olberman for his comments. He is absolutely correct. Hillary acts like she is on another political planet. I have not in all of my years have never seen a candidate running for higher office endorsing another candidate from another party for President over the candidate in their own party. She must really hate Sen. Obama. I have said for a long time on this post that he always shows her the utmost respect while she talks down to him as if he is not her equal in the Senate. She wants to talk to him as if he is a little child instead of a viable candidate running for the President of the United States.

I for one have had it her rantings. For all of those women out there who look up to her as kind of role model they have picked for their daughter, than I think they may want to wait for another woman to come along. The underhandedness Clinton has displayed in this race. Let us not forget NAFTA GATE in accusing Obama when in fact it was her campaign who contacted the Canadian Govt. with a "WINK WINK". She wants to throw a rock and then use her gender to show that she is being put upon and treated unfairly. I can say all of these things, I am a woman, and I know how woman play the game. Now she does not want to play by the rules that she accepted on the Florida Michigan mess.

I am glad that a Journalist like Olberman is calling it like it is. The truth hurts. I don't know why the Super Delegates are not running from her and Bill Clinton. She just told them that she would rather tear the party down and endorse the Republican Candidate. If they don't show some spine on this one, than the Republicans deserve to have the White House.

Somewhere in the WH an oddly colored phone starts to ring, and ring and ring and ring and ring and ring and ring and ring and ring and ring....and then...

Thank you, Keith Olbermann! It is a tribute to you -- and a taint on your profession -- that you are virtually the only journalist out there not willing to buy into the Orwellian BS peddled by the likes of Bush and Hillary Clinton and instead willing to speak the truth to power.

You and Bill Moyers are truly the Edward R. Murrows of our time.

I like Bill Moyers but Olbermann, but he has been going to far. I am a Clinton supporter and she did not phrase anything very well at that press conference BUT Obama didn't answer the question put to him either. It might be a good idea for her to go onto Countdown and have a discussion.

I am very worried that nearly every political panel on MSNBC has included an Obama supporter(Eugene Robinson, Margaret Carlson, Katrina Vanden Heuvel, Ed Shultz, Michelle Bernard, etc).
