Tonight on his show, Keith Olbermann eviscerated Hillary Clinton for a good ten minutes for promoting John McCain's presidency over her fellow Democrats. He compared her to Joe Lieberman. He asked "is she equating her time in the East Wing with McCain's time in the Hanoi Hilton?" You have got to watch these videos. They're devastating in only the way that Keith can be.

The only problem with Olbermann's commentary is that HE DIDN'T GET ANGRY ENOUGH!
I seem to remember Obama praising Reagan in a book and a speech as well as lauding the Repugs a the "party of ideas".He'

It is not the same:
1) it was PROVEN that he did not praise Reagan, thats a smear
2) Clinton had Republicans in his Cabinet too, what is wrong with going with his WORD that he would work together with Republicans. It is a sign of unity.

Other than the fact that your take on what Obama said is quite one-sided itself --- but well within your rights of interpretation --- the difference is that Reagan WILL NOT be on the November ballot. I just don't understand why Hillary would shoot herself in the foot on this issue with the possibility that she might have to run against McCain.
If she is the nominee --- GULP --- and the deciding factor is experience or Commander in Chief bona fides, SHE LOSES ON ALL COUNTS. Hillary's strength is not experience, she doesn't have much of it... at least no more so than in the way that online universities or night school programs in Community Colleges give college "credit" for life experience on the way to a less than full-strength degree or certificate.
In order to beat a McCain, Hillary would have to somehow transform into an inpirational, transcendent figure. Her recent behavior and posturing is not leaving room for that. If Hillary's plan is to go toe-to-toe with McCain on experience, she will lose... and more importantly WE will lose.
Maybe you weren't around in 1980, but I was an adult raising three children. What Obama was referring to, and what Reaguns actually did, was tap into what the people were facing. He addressed the issues facing everyday people and won the White House.
Maybe you should read more so you are a bit more informed rather than following talking points.
Hillary is a traitor. She'll do the same to her opponents on healthcare or other issues. THIS is why Obama has so many passionate supporters.

Its incredible that the Clintons were complaining about the media coverage and the media actually bought into all of it. Keith is the only one that points out the obvious: the Clintons are republican lite.

I have always made the point that its was the Clintons that ensured 8 years of Bush and not 8 years of Gore. They lost Congress, the Supreme Court. They are doing it again. The are ensuring more lost Congressional seats, more wacko judges and 8 more years of Republican rule.
