Pelosi Pipe Down

San Francisco Chronicle:

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi urged both leading Democratic presidential candidates to cease their bickering, warning that the escalating rhetoric could hurt the party's chances in November.

"I would encourage both of them, as I have, to remember we have to keep our eyes on the prize, which is the general election in November," Pelosi said Friday at a luncheon in New York sponsored by Lifetime Networks and the Hearst Corp., parent company of The Chronicle.

"We are all very passionate about our politics and the issues we believe in, but we have to be very dispassionate about how we approach winning. We have to lift the debate to a place that does not turn off the American people."

"Outside the rules"? GW Bush and Co, have been outside the rules ever since Nancy has been Speaker of the House but she has not seen fit to oppose him. Nancy sounds and looks like a clown when she "URGES" others to do anything, period. No one really cares what Nancy has to say any more. LOL!

hey nancy, sorry babe you don't carry much weight around here anymore. you can't run the senate, you can't stand up to bush, and you won't be able to stop the smackdown between clinton and obama.

It's difficult being a democrat when we want our elected representatives to oppose the elected republicans who are factually actually ruining our country, yet instead they fight one another. Of course Hillary started the fight...that's why she brought the boxing gloves... REMEMBER.

She wouldn't or couldn't fight George Bush, and neither would or could Nancy Pelosi. Hillary you started this fight with Obama to prove you're a fighter, but you have yet to apologize for this direction. You threw the first punches and but Obama is the wrong opponent. Hillary, you need to apologize for saying that McCain would be a better Commander in Chief than Barak Obama. If you believe it's true, then it is a very good reason for you NOT to receive the Democratic nomination. Your loyalty to the Republican party has been evident in your voting record, and it has NEVER served the purpose for which you were elected to Congress as a Democrat. If you can't honor Obama as you said did, then at least honor the party for which are seeking the nomination. If you can't admit you made a mistake in giving McCain a superior position to your fellow Democrat, then it's obvious that you're fighting the Democratic Party, which would indeed make you a monster.

Hillary is focused on the prize. Her own nomination. There is no other prize as far as Hillary is concerned. Not the country, not the Democratic Party, not the economy, not anything. It's all about their power. So Nancy your pleas will fall on deaf ears because there is no cause, no value, no purpose, no vision for the Clintons beside getting elected. If she must destroy Obama so he can't possibly win the election against McCain, so be it. If she must race bait by darkening pictures of Obama on her web site to get lower income white working folks to vote for her, so be it. If she must tear up complain to the press about how unfair they are and play victim, so be it. If she must manipulate and plant a false story about Barack and NAFTA in the Canadian press, so be it. All that matters is her is that she get that nomination.

I now know, for certain, that this woman whom I once supported but have now come to loathe, will never receive my vote. If she wins the nomination, I'm voting for Nader. You say I'll turn the Supreme Court over to right wing judges? Well it's there anyway and besides it will serve the feminists right to have Roe vs. Wade overturned. They deserve all the set backs they are going to encounter by supporting a woman who would even promote the Republican candidate over her Democratic opponent to obtain power.

Now all of these Obama folks are attacking Pelosi. Whatever happened to all of the hope and inspiration?

Besides the obvious stupidity of Pelosi even opening her mouth about this is lieu her record thus far, she needs to be concerned more about HER job. Congress has had an approval rating lower than Bush even after the 2006 elections. And that would seem pretty hard to do. If Hillary is given the nomination by some scheming sympathetic backroom dealing, she would undoubtedly loose the general election and doom underperforming Congressional Democrats along with it. The DNC is already hurting for money, and Hillary as the nominee won't raise much. Pelosi seems more concerned with redecorating the Congressional cafeteria and menu than framing an image of Democrats with fortitude and gumption.

So let's sit back and watch the Harry "weak kneed" Reid, Nancy "wet noodle" Pelosi, and Howard "the Duck" Dean totally blow this golden opportunity.

Barack grew up a mixed race kid in the US and Indonesia. He has been standing up to bullies his entire life. He will beat her because he is a better person who is tougher in the right ways. Being the bully tat she is doesn't make her tough or right for the country. This said, he cannot take what she's doing lying down.

David Plouffe:
“seems to be a different standard in the Clinton campaign.” He cited supporter Bob Johnson, who alluded to Obama’s drug use in South Carolina; Tom Buffenbarger, president of the machinists' union, who vitriolically trashed Obama in Ohio; and Tom Vilsack, who attacked Rudy Giuliani on the number of his marriages and the relationship with his children.

“It took them days to admit they were offensive comments,” Plouffe said of Johnson’s comments. And on Vilsack’s comments on Giuliani, there was “no action there,” Plouffe said. Clinton, Plouffe points out, never apologized for Buffenbarger’s remarks -- calling Obama “Janus, the two-faced Roman god of ancient times” and attacking his supporters as “latte-drinking, Prius-driving, Birkenstock-wearing, trust fund babies” -- at an event she was at and later followed him on stage.

“Apparently there are different standards here as it relates to people outside the campaign,” he added.

What a chicken-shit remark!

Instead of calling out the Clinton slime-machine for the damage it's already done -- and continues to do -- to the Democratic Party, Pelosi blames both campaigns!!

That;s like the teacher who's afraid to confront the class bully and singles out an easier target for punishment -- someone who talks to his neighbor during a test, for instance -- when trying to restore order in the classroom. The bully is the one causing the real trouble, but the teacher doesn't want to deal with the hassle involved.

No wonder the Dems in Congress have caved into Cheney & Bush on everything else. Call the Clintons out for who they really are, Nancy! They're Republicans who've hijacked the party, you dumbass!

HATTIESBURG, Miss. (AP) - Democratic presidential contender Hillary Rodham Clinton tried to backpedal Friday from comments she made in October suggesting Mississippi was a backward place for women's progress.

Between Oberman, and Maththews, and we'll add Tucker, he's really more of a jerk but we'll add him in anyway, these guys have some big egoes. They think that they are objective newsmen when in reality, they are not objective and not newsman but rather just "news entertainers. They really think they are "kingmakers!" In fact with the exception of Wolfe at Cnn, all these other big heads, lets add Dobbs also, are just news entertainers in for the ratings. Any one should not have to wonder: "Why is it that a high percentage of the USA population tunes to the internet for "fair and balance!" I left one big news entertainer out "O'Rielly. Another A-hole!

On a lighter note, remember Hilary's infamous red phone ad (you know, she's in a pantsuit at 3am). Turns out that the adorable actress is really not fan of Hillarys:
