They operate from a bare apartment on a Chinese island. They are intelligent 20-somethings who seem harmless. But they are hard-core hackers who claim to have gained access to the world's most sensitive sites, including the Pentagon.
In fact, they say they are sometimes paid secretly by the Chinese government -- a claim the Beijing government denies.

And WHY is this surprising
I have no doubt that the Pentagon treats their IT department the same as any corporation: keeps them locked like mushrooms in an isolated room, underfunded with recommendations completely ignored, and then blames them when something goes terribly wrong.
Maybe they could hack into the White House Servers and retrieve some of those e-mails for us?
Don't worry. Beijing is cracking down on Chinese hackers in time for the Summer Olympics. At least, the ones who spit on the sidewalk.
The solution is really quite simple. There are two parts:
1) Filter out all traffic from China. And if that doesn't work,
2) Block all trade from China.

I would not doubt this story at all. While George and his minions are busy trying to sweep up the crumbs from Americans discussing Idol over the phone the Chinese, as usual, are doing the things that will make them no. 1.
That's why they were always 10 minutes early with the fast-food delivery!
They knew even before they hit the enter button, which entrees and appetizers they were going to order.
I don't see what the big deal is. The U.S. government taps our home computers. Why shouldn't the Chinese tap into the government computers? They both think they own us and can do anything they want to do. The only difference is that the Chinese DO own us. They bought this country through the loans they gave us.
So what? The CIA has been running hacker teams in Iraq for over a year now.
I hope you took the "IRAQ PLAN" that Rumsfeld left behind.
