Karl Rove And John Mccain

Politico:

John McCain is getting much more than President Bush's endorsement and fundraising help for his campaign. He's getting Bush's staff.

It's no secret that Steve Schmidt, Bush's attack dog in the 2004 election, and Mark McKinnon, the president's media strategist, are performing similar functions for McCain now.

Of coarse, birds of a feather flock together, just trying to figure why HRC is trying to fly with them.

Just to add, because it can't be said enough,

Karl Rove should be in prison.

Rove + McCain. No surprise (or ethics) there. The "Straight Talk Express" was clearly one of the best pieces of fiction a politician ever perpetrated on the American public. McCain is clearly a rank opportunist and (with his eager involvement with the traitor, Rove), a liar with no principles.

Will Rove still do his "fair and balanced" commentary on Fox? Of course he will.

Could have fooled me, I could have sworn he was advising Hillary. McCain better make sure he isn't moonlighting with other campaigns...actually, nevermind, he wants Hillary to keep doing what she has been doing, because it helps him. McCain's probably renting Rove out to Hillary to bring in some extra cash.

I find it laughable that McCain protested so hard against "waterboarding and torture" until he wanted to be just like GEORGE, so now he's hired Rove the Ripper. Well prepare yourself folks, Hillary thinks her and McCain are the only qualified people to run. Excuse me while I throw up. Vote for McCain and you get four more years of Bush, vote for Hillary and you will get four more years of Bush! Pathetic that McCain's straight talk express seems to have derailed, must of been all that Texas dust from the ranch clogging the wheels!

So much for Bill Clinton's assurance that a campaign in which McCain and Hillary Clinton are the candidates "will be the most civil campaign" in living memory. The only possible rationalization for such a claim is that Clinton thinks that Rove understands that the Clintons have internalized the rules of Rovian tactics and won't mind using them if necessary to defeat McCain, resulting in a zero-sum game that Rove will advise McCain not to engage in. Or some equally Machiavellian reasoning. Since I reject paranoid conspiracy theories, I do not subscribe to the theory that McCain and the Clintons have negotiated an agreement in which the Clintons do the Republicans' dirty work for them against Obama in return for McCain's promise not to mention blue dresses, pardons, etc., if Hillary is the candidate. Of course I may be mistaken on this point.

Expect something extremely childish, nasty, and designed to appeal to people's worst instincts in the fall.

How much is he being paid? How about that, he's just like the rest of us having to work two jobs to make ends meet!

McCain is a total sell-out for his ambitions to become president. He proved it time and again when he had the oportunity to stand on principles. What a wretched bunch that taken over our beloved country.
