Poehler was fierce as Christian (I love Christian). Hader's Gunn had a little too much Vincent Price, but was a pretty good hot mess. First thing other than the news that I LOL on SNL in quite some time. Hate how they've quit doing individual skits are do the same damn thing over and over again.
Amy did a fierce job as Christian, but as with all SNL skits, it just went on too long. Maybe they should cut the length of the show if they feel they have to fill time by having bad skits go on interminably. Another case in point, during Weekend Update, the soft spoken Presidential candidate.
Totally agree about the soft-spoken Presidential candidate!!!
He's been on a couple of times before, and it always goes WAYYY too long!
snl stinks. they haven't been funny in a lonnnnnggggg time. i tried to watch on saturday, but the show has lost its way. it hasn't stunk this bad since the early 80s.
This not funny..it is over workd, badly acted and silly.....
BOOOOORRRR
People have to realize that SNL doesn't focus on mean-spirited comedy like Madtv and most other shows do now... it's about creating weird characters
maybe if Christian was in black face, that might make it funny.
Boring is the new funny?
your post is a dozen times funnier than anything on snl these days. you actually made me chuckle.
Amy Poehler looked exactly like him. Very funny. As for Project Runway, Jillian was robbed.
I thought Chris was robbed when they let that atrocious "drape" queen into the top three. His designs were incredible and daring. Who else but a drag queen would use human hair to give some flair to clothing.
Hear! Hear! I saw some of the other stuff Chris did and it was awesome. There was a red dress I wanted so bad! And I don't wear dresses.
I love Queen Christian the Fierce!!!!!
There is only room for one Queen of America - so step off Hillary
it was cute teehee but i'm a real fan of PRW and the bravo channel
i missed snl - so this was a hoot to watch. pretty effing funny.
as billu said below, characterizations were spot-on - they nailed it.
and i'm 60 years old, "ndifference". this has nothing to do with any type of generational gap other than if you can't keep up with the cultural references then step aside.
it's all fun - just hot mess tranny fun, be-actch.

It was, like so Ferosh... I mean totally Fierce!!!
The Grinchian is so talented and such an annoying fag.
It's okay I'm a professional.
He should be seen and not heard.
The ANTM skit was funnier.
Yeah, I watched that and didn't know what the hell to make of it. When did SNL stop writing jokes and comedy sketches that weren't dependent on the viewer being familiar with cable teevee dog crap? I'm 41 years old - should I really be suffering from a generation-gap with SNL? No wonder I don't find it funny anymore.
I didn't have to be on top of popular culture to laugh at Samurai Barber, Wild and Crazy Guys, Killer Bees, Dirty Uncle Buck, or even the Roxbury Guys, Wayne's World, and Sprockets. These days I just don't get the humor. To hell with it.
SNL has always poked fun at pop culture. Project runway is just that, pop culture. Reducing all the actors to just their tag lines is nothing new, people have been doing that with Gov. Ah-nold for years. It's funny enough, but the best part was the impersonations. They were pretty spot on.
that happened around the time the Lorne Michaels thought he could create a star factory. Instead of quality sketch, you got low quality writing full of nothing but new york self reference.
