Another sign of the anger in Obamaland at the Clinton campaign: an email from a member of Obama's LGBT leadership council, Maxim Thorne, to a couple of listservs:

"We cannot tolerate her lies and stolen election," Thorne wrote of Clinton, revisiting familiar themes:

At 3am, Hillary said she and Bill were in bed and she knows of all the calls a President gets at different times of the day and night. Really? So much involvement - so much togetherness. Where was she when Monica was having sex with Bill? 35 years of experience? When he was intimidating Katherine Wiley and Paula Jones? Where was the judgment on the cattle futures and white water. Do we forget Mark and Denise Rich? This was an impeached President who lost his license to practice law. He committed perjury. They settled with Paula Jones for the full amount of her lawsuit. I haven't forgotten and none of us should.

actually, she seemed to be expressing a sentiment that for the first time in her adult life she was reallllly proud of her country - proud of the way all of us are jazzed up and involved, regardless of what side we're on, proud that we're asking the tough questions of our leaders once again and proud that we're trying to move beyond the fear and isolation that have made us act not-so-gracefully in the past.

This issue should be on the front burner. It goes to the heart of Hillary's unelectability. Bill has used her like any of the other women he has humiliated. That she takes it and did not divorce him speaks to a weakness this country cannot afford in the highest office.

A battered wife is hardly the ideal president.

The Clintons did this to themselves. To call it "off limits" is the height of childneshness. It is directky relevant to her continued poor judgement.

Thats definitely not the kind of attack Obama can support - and its good the woman has resigned. The funny thing about this is that: THOSE ATTACKS ARE TRUE! And, with this whole Spitzer thing, voters should be thinking about if they really want the Clintons back in the white house - despite Hillary's claims, she has NOT been 'vetted' during the last 7 years and there's lots of potential dirt in their closet (Bills business deals with dictators/terrorist states, the secret donor list of Bill's foundation, no tax returns public for 7 years, un-released white house paper, and ofcourse we all know Bill has probably been sleeping around still - Rupert Murdoch is rumored to have a file on all the Bill Clinton women over the last 7 years)!!! That's a lot of potential scandal material - any of which could bring the country's business to a grinding holt - and Clinton supporters cant say this is speculation because Clinton scandals have already done exactly that!! The Clintons have proven that they have bad judgement and are scandal-prone, and by the way, the GOP will be hammering home these same points which is why they can't wait to run against her.
