Via Politico:

Nancy Pelosi tells Boston TV that a Clinton-Obama or Obama-Clinton ticket is "impossible."

"I think that the Clinton administration has fairly ruled that out by proclaiming that Senator McCain would be a better Commander in Chief than Obama. I think that either way is impossible," she said.

Also: "Nothing ever resolves itself -- it has to be resolved by some outside forces," she said.

Congratulations to Pelosi on her insight. The behavior of the clintons has been shameful and a disgrace to the Democratic Party

This is Washington speak for "The democratic political bosses will decide for you, the great unwashed."

By the way, Nancy, what have you done lately?

Shillary is pathetic, Obama has gotta know that she would be the wrong VP running mate. If the Clintons would just go away and let the best candidate step up and go after McCrazy and the neonut GOP. Shillary needs to step aside and give up her worthless campaign.

MCCAIN REFUSES TO TAKE VP OFFER

From his front porch in Sedona, Arizona, Senator McCain held a brief press conference to deny any interest in being the vice presidential candidate on a ticket headed by Senator Clinton. Showing traces of his well known hot temper, the Senator berated the Clintons for spreading rumors of such a bipartisan ticket. (off the record, he used the word "monster")

He disposed of the thought of any meeting with Senator Clinton, saying that any such meeting would be secret and " how the ___ could a meeting be secret if I talked about it?".

The conference concluded with the Senator noting that he was already the candidate in first place and asking " Can't those _____ Democrat candidates ever find a worthy Democrat?"

Who cares what this turncoat thinks? Maybe she should focus on investigated the current administration instead of back-stabbing a fellow female politician.

My thaniks to Pelosi for ending this pie-in-the-sky talk for a dream ticket. Further more- with Hillary's conduct- who wants her on any democratic ticket- she is a closet Republican. If Hillary can't win- and we all know she can't- it's more advantageous for her to have McCain win.

The Clintons are always looking out for number one.

OK, Nancy, it's now time for you to walk the talk -- get off your cowardly little ass and come out and support Barack. Put an end to the bickering and racial and gender division that's being encouraged by the Clintons and their derranged surrogates!

Don't you get it? If more supers like you would just come forward like Chris Dodd and state your support for Obama and rejection of Republican-like tactics from the Clintons, this would all come to an end.

Why do you think the Clintons are bullying and arm-twisting supers NOT to defect from their campaign??!! They know they can't win the intellectual or moral argument, so violence -- either verbal or psychological -- is their only alternative.

And that's OK with you???!!! It says a lot more about you than the Clintons.

Keith Olbermann on MSNBC is going to make a Special Comment about the Clinton campaign tonight. This to m e is significant because he often talks about his fondness for the Clintons. She has clearly crossed the line and party supporters know it.

One wonders... was this rash of negativity by the Clinton campaign all strategic posturing? Was the calculus that she's already viewed so negatively (by Independents and young Democrats) that by going full-gutter she could shore up her base (the Geraldine Ferraro demographic) without alienating those who already see her as a catty curmudgeon (umm, everyone else)?

For the sake of our country (in case she does win the nom and get elected) I almost hope this crass divisiveness was intentional. If it wasn't- if these gob-smacking back-stabs and attempts to discredit Obama by her staff and minions was not all part of some sinister strategy, then it points to Clinton's daft leadership and admin skill (cause her cretins are going totally beserk!)

I was a sophomore at Carolina in '93 watching her whole I'm-smarter-than-you, abrasive bungling screw up health care reform the first time. As a 30-something black guy, I watch with gloom 15 years later as she bungles something so much more vital to our national interest- the very credibility of a Democratic candidacy in what is undoubtedly the most important election in a generation. It's NOT a race OR a sex thing, it's a "wow, she's either really mean or really dumb" thing.

Yuck.

Obama cannot win without Hillary's support. Sorry folks but if you Obamites keep spouting the "We Hate Hillary" mantra, then you might as well be republicans. If there isn't a Clinton on the ballot in November, this democrat will either stay home or vote as an Independent (Ralph Nader, here I come!) and without the Clinton votes, Obama doesn't have a snowball's chance in hell of winning. McCain can have it. I don't see how Obama can expect Hillary to endorse him if he wins the nomination and she's shut out of the process? Without Hillary's endorsement, Obama will not win. I guess the party is split now. Good. Now we can have a three party system.

Obama/Webb 08...

Biden can be Sec of State (that would piss him off, lmao) and Edwards can be Attorney General. ;)

Yeah, I'm seeing Webb as a good VP too. Biden (State) and Edwards(AG) as well. Must find a cabinet position for Richardson too. I wonder if Colin would ever go to the UN and maybe Clark (if he can survive Hillary) as Defense Sec.

Exactly the slate I was hoping for, but the longer this thing drags out without Biden, Edwards and Richardson stepping in for the sake of the party and the candidate with whom they were clearly most closely aligned, the more I'm thinking he should go ahead with the people who have had the courage to oppose the DLC: Dodd, Kerry, Daschle, perhaps one of more of the governors, etc.

I do wish they coulg get Webb to stand up now and align himself.

Amen! Say it Nancy. To the few people who are somehow confused she's saying: After the way Hillary's ran her campaign BO should never be her Vice President. And he shouldn't even consider her for his VP either.

I'll admit I wish it was an out-and-out endorsement but since Geraldine Ferraro seems to keep clammering on and the Clnton campaign manages to do something increasingly dumb and offensive every week I've got confidence Hillary does a few more of these and Pelosi'll out and out endorse Barack! Glory be to that day. It'll be the beginning of the end.

We don't need your interpretations. I read the words as written, and do not need an interpreter. That's the problem with alot of politicians and their supporters. Always trying to tell people what someone ,"meant," when we can clearly see the words for ourselves. That's the biggest complaint I have toward the talking heads on cable tv.

Let's hope she hurries up and assembles some of those "outside forces" before the Clintons and their gullible supporters do any more damage to the Party's chances.
