Via Politico:

Nancy Pelosi tells Boston TV that a Clinton-Obama or Obama-Clinton ticket is "impossible."

"I think that the Clinton administration has fairly ruled that out by proclaiming that Senator McCain would be a better Commander in Chief than Obama. I think that either way is impossible," she said.

Also: "Nothing ever resolves itself -- it has to be resolved by some outside forces," she said.

Nancy, stop deflecting from your own shortcomings. we have had someone in office for the past 7 years who was not ready to be Commander-in -Chief. Yet you refused to put impeachment on the table. Your comments now ring hollow.

It is very sad that Senaror Clinton's ambition and desperation is robbing the party of such a wonderful opportunity. I was cheering for a joint ticket before, especially after the Texas debate where she and Senator Obama treated each other with respect and dignity. Who are her advisers? They should be excommunicated from the party. I noticed that when Senator Obama spoke about her runnig against Mccain he said he has no doubt senator Clinton will make a better president than Senator McCain. I which she had been as civil. oh well......

The dream ticket was never on the table. This was fabricated by the media. Neither candidate was ever going to defer to the other. We all know this, so why do some of you seem perplexed?

For the first time in over a year, Nancy Pelosi has scored, and she has scored big. I hope other party leaders will join her in saying that a joint ticket is no longer possible after Clinton's traitorous remarks about John McCain. I hope the party is finally getting ready to cough up that fishbone known as the Clintons.

Clinton having the gall to offer Obama the vice presidency just another sign of her sense of entitlement.

HOORAY for Nancy Pelosi. I was wondering how many Democrates were going to sit back in the leadership role and let the Clintons say anything out there. Have Hilliary and Bill Clinton dranked the "Kool Aid"? After all of the nasty rhetoric coming from the Clinton Campaign about Obama's experience, he thinks he would make a good running mate for his wife. PLEASSSSSSSSE!

This is just his way of telling Obama supporters out there, "see you can still have Obama if he is my wife's second." This is also a ploy to fool African Americans into thinking well, its OK for us to abandon Obama and vote for Hillary? Especially those AA's that support Hillary like Ohio Cong. Stephanie Tubbs-Jones and Sheila Jackson Lee of Texas. That gives them an opening/ and cover to say to their constituents, whose districts went overwhelmingly for Obama, to maintain their Political Offices in those districts.

All of this coming from Billary in an attempt to persuade voters to vote for Hillary. This after she has done the following, which has crossed the line.

1. Endorsed John McCain over Obama.

2. Calling the Obama supporters "pie in the sky" kinda people.

3. The people who votes in the caucuses are strange, voters in small states don't matter.

4. Acting so insulted to be called a 'Monster", when her campaign invoked Ken Starr’s name. She was called the "B" word on Saturday night live, no problem. And every last one of her surrogates has used racism, etc., to just plain nastiness from Ed Rendell, Shaheen, to Bob Johnson.

5. Last but not least, NAFTA GATE - Hillary’s campaign made the first contact with the Canadian Government with the 'WINK WINK"

So, I ask all of you Hillary supporters, if this type of slash and burn politics is what you want than we are back to the Republican Slime machine coming from a Democrat. The Republicans should just sit back and let Clinton do the Democratic Party in. No work needed on the Republican Party side to be done. Hillary is doing all of it for them in the name toughing up Obama. I know some you out there will say if Obama can't take the heat get out of the "Kitchen", but the operative word is heat. NOT BURN THE HOUSE DOWN!

I hope people are smarter out there than what the Clinton's and the News media, give them credit for.

From the Clinton campaign:
Sen. Obama Offers 5th Explanation of NAFTA-Gate
After days of misleading denials, Sen. Obama has finally acknowledged that a meeting took place between his senior economic advisor and Canadian officials regarding NAFTA. But Sen. Obama now claims that the detailed memo obtained by the AP describing the meeting – and Goolsbee’s downplaying of Obama’s anti-NAFTA rhetoric – is inaccurate. This is at least the fifth different explanation offered by Sen. Obama and his campaign.

1. 2/27/08 – ‘No conversations have taken place’ with the Canadian government on NAFTA. “Earlier Thursday, the Obama campaign insisted that no conversations have taken place with any of its senior ranks and representatives of the Canadian government on the NAFTA issue.” [CTV, 2/29/08

2. 2/27/08 – Obama advisor just said ‘hello.’ “Goolsbee: Canada’s consul general in Chicago contacted him ‘at one point to say ‘hello’ because their office is around the corner.” [ABC, 2/29/08 ]

3. 2/28/08 - Rice: ‘There had been no contact.’ “The Canadian ambassador issued a statement that was absolutely false. There had been no contact. There had been no discussions on NAFTA. So we take the Canadians at their word…period.” [MSNBC, Susan Rice, 2/28/08]

4. 2/29/08: Sen. Obama: ‘It did not happen.’ Anchor: “So, completely inaccurate, did not happen, end of discussion.” Sen. Obama: “It did not happen.” [WKYC TV, 2/29/08 ]

5. 3/10/08 – Sen. Obama: The meeting did happen, they did discuss NAFTA, but advisor just said Obama wanted to make NAFTA ’stronger for U.S. workers.’ “So here’s what happens. You’ve got one of my economic advisors goes and visits a Canadian embassy and they’re asking him questions and he says, ‘Well, Senator Obama isn’t planning to repeal NAFTA, but he wants to amend it to make it stronger for U.S. workers.’ The Canadian embassy writes it up as, ‘Well, maybe Obama is not as tough on NAFTA as you might think.’ And the Clintons start waving this and saying, ‘See? Actually, he’s the one.’” [Mississippi Rally, 3/10/08]

Do your research the canadian govt said there was no wink wink from BO's camp.

http://www.ctv.ca/servlet/ArticleNews/story/CTVNews/20080302/nafta_memo_080303/20080303/

The Canadian Embassy in Washington issued a statement on Monday saying its envoys "regularly contact those involved in all of the Presidential campaigns and, periodically, report on these contacts to interested officials."

The statement went on to say that in the recent report from the Consulate General in Chicago, "there was no intention to convey, in any way, that Senator Obama and his campaign team were taking a different position in public from views expressed in private, including about NAFTA.

"We deeply regret any inference that may have been drawn to that effect."

The statement added that Canada will not "interfere" in the American electoral process.

There's no secret there. She knows the Dem opposition is a nut job and McCain is riding on the short yellow bus with her.

I hate to interrupt with the truth but Senator Clinton NEVER said McCain would be a better president than Obama. I guess if you repeat something enough times it becomes the truth....weapons of mass destruction anyone? She said McCain has more experience....it's the truth, he does.

Wow, good point. I guess Obama could have said that in the debate too, picture this instead of saying "Senator Clinton would still be a far better President that Senator McCain" Obama said "McCain has far more experience than Senator Clinton, whom main qualification is being the wife of a President"
I think I summed it up and flipped into what Barrack could have said vs. what Hillary actually said.
She sucks and the poster child of why I am not a Democrat but unaffiliated.

She made additional statements which in essence she said "I've passed the commander-in-chief test and I know Sen. McCain has. But Barack Obama has not". So if you're saying you and your Republican rival are ready to be president but a fellow Dem isn't, doesn't take a lot of deduction to arrive at the insinuation that McCain is ready to be president whereas Obama is not.

Come on guys. Listen Up Hillary and Barack. We need a Dem in the white house. I don't care which. I would be happy to support either Clinton-Obama or Obama-Clinton if they can both jump off their high-horses and put the Democratic ticket ahead of either of their own personal ambitions.

Winning the Oval Office is more important than which one of them does it.

I support both. I am becoming a little turned off by Hillary, due to her increasingly negative remarks about someone who should be on the same side.

Stop bickering and play nice. Save the bashing for McCain...not each other or I may have to vote Nader!

( kidding )
