Via Politico:

Nancy Pelosi tells Boston TV that a Clinton-Obama or Obama-Clinton ticket is "impossible."

"I think that the Clinton administration has fairly ruled that out by proclaiming that Senator McCain would be a better Commander in Chief than Obama. I think that either way is impossible," she said.

Also: "Nothing ever resolves itself -- it has to be resolved by some outside forces," she said.

Ready on day one, why, why is she ready on day one, she, not her husband. If she's using her husband as part of the equation, how does that work, how does he come back in, term limits? What exactly did she do as First Lady that makes her ready, puts her alongside McCain in experience. What exactly did she do, after the failed health care reform bill? I find it kind of sad that the first female running, as they say, viable, is running such a negative campaign, based on sound bites. I wonder how far she's put women back, in the running for president?

Pelosi is without principals or honor. Who cares what she thinks.

This looks like a nice distraction on a day where Republicans are making loud threats of impeachment for Spitzer. The obvious reaction is for people to think for a minute about just what Nancy has done to our nation.

How effective and hurtful were her efforts to shield Bush from the rule of law? If Iran becomes our next victim, much blood will be on her hands, and on those of the anti-impeachment crowd.

As for Obama/Clinton being a dream ticket. Clinton is a nightmare as VP or top dog. Just like Pelosi as speaker.

Clinton has too large a selection of QUALIFIDE people for VP. Her gesture was only a courtesy toward an out classed opponent. Obama is not qualifide to even be a senator from Illinois. END OF STORY.

For all Hillary haters, suddenly Nancy Pelosi has become a hero. But is would be good to remember the way these same people were thinking about the same Nancy Pelosi not a while ago. I think it has a name to describe it. Bravo Nancy, at least you have tried to "impeach" Hillary before her time comes. Nice job!!! You have unified the Party so much that Independents like me would rather stay Independent forever!!! Thanks for helping me avoiding the switch !!

Finally Pelosi says something interesting or worthwhile. She is as useless as they come. But she is right that Clinton has pretty much ruined any chances of getting in on this new administration.

FINALLY! - Someone who is seeing the true colors of Hillary Clinton. "You can fool some of the people some of the time, but you cannot fool all of the people all of the time" - that statement has never rung so true.

Yes Nancy, Hillary has made some comments, but so has Barack!! I think the blame falls both ways. Obama continually rails on about how he was against the war from the beginning , even though his beginning wasn't for another 3 years after 2002 and the use of force on Iraq vote. and Bush's lies on WMD. After saying in his book "Audacity of Hope" that had he been privy to intelligence reports , and had he been actually been in the US i senate and therefore qualified to vote..which he was not!!! , that he too may have had a different opinion , also stating his position on Iraq, wasn't much different to George Bush's. Why would you continually fuel, what you know to be a sore spot..simply to get ahead....when you know in your heart you probably wuld have voted the same as she did! ...and all you did was give a speech in 2002 at a rally against the war , as you didn't have intelligence reports, and to make things worse...quite a few of your superdelegate endorsers like John kerry, Tom Daschle, Chris Dodd, and Menendez ..all voted just as Hillary did....and where was Obama in 2002 , well sice he wouldn't be even sworn in toi the US senate til January of 2005......he was at his part time state senate job...and not qualified to say what was right and wrong without knowing all the details.....and intelligence that the US had.....Talk about playing dirty

Pelosi tyrying to find a nich in someones cabinet because she may very well be outed as the speaker next election due to her failure to hold GW Bush and Co. accountable. Pelosi has no credibility.

A few months back, "progressives" couldn't stand Pelosi. Now she's a hero who's grown a set.
She has clearly been a Obama supporter, now she has finally said it.
For all those celebrating her comments, she has only divided the party further. Way to go Nancy.
In the chance Hillary does get the nomination the best thing for the party and the country would be a united ticket. Clinton supporters by and large would support Obama on the ticket. It appear that Obama supporters, at least here, would rather walk away than unite. That doesn't seem to mesh with Obama's rhetoric. But then again Obama can do no wrong and Hillary is satan.
Half the Democratic Party supports Hillary. Deal with it.

Pelosi in nothing but talk. Why don't she and the other so-called party heavyweights put a stop the to the in fighting? Mainly because they are all playing politics. They don"t have the ball to do the right thing.

I totally agree with Nancy Pelosi. Hillary clearly said that McCain is better than Obama. I think she dug her own hole right there.

If you recall, Pelosi is also responsible for "impeachment is off the table" and for persecuting Congressman Chris Bell when he violated her edict not to file charges with the ethics committee against Tom Delay. The San Francisco democrat has turned a blind eye to rendition and torture, which she was briefed about long before any of the rest of us knew it. In essence, she's a G.O.P. operative using the liberal social issues banner for cover, and has received financing and support from Gordon Getty, son of the Getty Oil tycoon, since she was first elected in 1987 with no previous public office experience. It's no wonder that she has joined in the Clinton bashing bonanza.

It's also impossible because all of Obama's supporters would riot in the streets if he accepted the VP spot.It would continue to reinforce the same racist. People of color are good enough for the number 2 spot, as long as you stay in line. But white people will never tolerate an attitude, period.

Pelosi is determined no woman will eclipse her. It's that pettty and spiteful. That said, I think it's extremely hypocritical of so many obama zealots to get hung up on HRC's pointing out of the obvious; that Obama lacks teh experience of either of his rivals given that all Obama zealots do all day long is parrot the GOP line that Clinton and McCain are so similar.

It's part of teh same idiocy that doesn;'t see that if HRC and McCain are as similar as Obama cultists protest, then if Obam,a gets the nomination, the logical choice for HRC supporters (who constitute at a bare minimum half of the dem general election voters) would be McCain and not Obama. After all, as Obama cultists keep hammering home, they are the most alike and not Obama and HRC.
