Eliot Spitzer And Wife Silda Leave Apartment In Media Scrum

Just after 11 am, Eliot Spitzer and wife Silda left their Fifth Avenue apartment to a glut of media and got into a 3-SUV caravan. Helicopters tracked their route from overhead. The governor and his wife (in a scarf as seen above) drove together in the backseat. He is on his way to a news conference where he is expected to resign. He got stuck in traffic and his arrival was delayed.
