B.S. Most addictions are merely bad choices made by weak people with too much time or too much money or both. People who learn to serve something other than their own personal pleasures get satisfaction in life that goes way beyond the mere gratification of a warm buzzing throb in the mind, or elsewhere. Hear a person lamenting an addiction, for the most part, you see someone who is inactive in society and who is just making ends meet. They are the Orwellian "Proles" as described in "1984."

As someone pointed out earlier, Fox News could have simply stayed inside its building and interviewed Dick Morris or Bill O'Reilly.
why didn't they just ask dick morris, he has been in trouble like that- remember the hotel room episode?
Fox felt that it was necessary to explain to its viewers why a middle-aged man might want sex from a bunch of attractive young women?
You would think in a city the size of New York they (FOX News) could have found a sex addict that was a heterosexual that solicted women. Perhaps it doesn't matter to some who will argue that a sex addict is the same regardless of sexual orientation.
But I found it a little odd. Then again my gaydar could be a bit off tonight.
So, where the hell did Fox find the sex addict to interview? Does he have an agent? Does Fox have this guy's number just in case they ever need a sex addict-slash-bald mustachioed guy who looks like he stepped out of a seventies porno? Fox- they really do think of everything in their quest to bring you hard hitting news.
Oh - that was great! Ha! Ha! Classic...
I've wondered that myself. Where do they get these people? Anderson Cooper was interviewing an excon pimp right after the Spitzer resignation. Their producers must have an index or something.
This site has turned into everything that I am against, if anyone knows of an alternative to HuffPo, please post it.

This is getting totally ridiculous. Now we have the news channels interviewing sex addicts to find out why Spitzer did what he did. Come on !!!! This is turning into Jerry Springer crap.
Sorry prograssives, Jerry Springer graced the AirAmerika airwaves
There must be a reason for Eliot's behavior, some deep, complex explanation for his behavior. Couldn't be that he's just a horny bastard.
Spitzer wasn't eaten up with anything but hubris. Like Bill Clinton, Vitter, and the host of other politicians being caught in sex scandals, these people think they're invulnerable to being caught - or don't consider it at all. They live in a different world that they think shields them from everyone else's reality. If I were Spitzer's wife I would be preparing the divorce papers, but I'm not, so what I think about what he's done is immaterial.
I would definitely like to hear the truth about the investigation that caught him, though. I don't believe the story currently being peddled - I think the data mining the administration is illegally conducting targeted him because he was an political enemy and a crusader against Wall Street excesses. And I think we'll eventually learn the truth. But that doesn't excuse his hubris, which is actually what brought him down.
