Geraldo Wouldn't Be Surprised If Spitzer's Hooker "Turns Out To Be An Illegal On Lou Dobbs' Show"

Earlier this month, Geraldo Rivera told the ladies of "The View" that he wouldn't shake the hand of the "shameful" "hate-monger" Lou Dobbs. Last night on "The Colbert Report," he accused the far right of scapegoating illegal immigrants and said, "I wouldn't be surprised if Eliot Spitzer's hooker turns out to be an illegal on Lou Dobbs' show."

Colbert also questioned Geraldo about his book, His Panic, why he keeps the mustache, and previous disparaging comments Geraldo has made against Comedy Central.

That has to be one of the most unintelligent comments Geraldo has made and he's made THOUSANDS OF THEM.

In fact it doesn't even make sense if you think about it.

Poor Geraldo, once upon a time he was actually respected (A lonnnng time ago) but how he's floundering around like a fish out of water and unable to think clearly; which he hasn't been able to do for a good decade now.

And I have to agree, why does every who hates Lou seem to put ILLEGAL aliens into the same category as ILLEGAL aliens?

No. It's not "JUST about the illegality" though law-abiding vs. law-breaking is a large factor. It's a security/military issue as well. The laws including the quotas are there as a protection for the country. If the laws are thrown out and the quotas are dropped; anybody and everybody wanting to invade or overthrow the U.S. could simply come on in, organize and attack.

And before anyone starts screaming "RACIST!" or "XENOPHOBE!", get over yourself. There is NOTHING bigoted or xenophobic about wanting fair and controlled immigration. Immigrants help build this country and the U.S. is all the better for it. Perhaps the answer is to reopen Ellis Island and have a centralized port-of-entry for immigrants. Who knows? What I do know is that turning a blind eye as millions of illegal aliens enter our country and then giving them all amnesty every few years, isn't working.

Why do people like Geraldo Rivera continue bunch illegal aliens and those who have played by the rules and immigrated here legally into the same category. That's wrong and insult to them.I agree with Lou Dobbs about illegal aliens,we have immigration laws that should be applied to all equally.Geraldo is using this issue to fatten his checkbook.Shame on him.

I think the same thing. Why would those supposedly speaking out on behalf of immigrants continually lump them together with illegal aliens? They are two totally different groups. Immigrants came to this country legally and within the law. Illegal aliens intentionally break the laws but don't want to be held accountable for their actions. It's very clear.
