Hillary Clinton, citing her experience in the White House as First Lady, says she would be ready to be president on Day 1. It seems there's another person who's claiming the same experience.

Hell, I like Laura better than Hillary, McCain or George W. Bush. LOL. Laura was school teacher, I believe. Teaching the children of today makes her more quaified than all the generals supporting Clinton to handle a crisis.

Works for me.
She has lived in a governors mansion.
She has lived in the White House.
We know she is involved in national security and other things because she has to read dubya the reports.
People actually LIKE her unlike Queen hillary and her almost 50% negatives.
She also qualifies for the two most important things that matter to the "caw, caw, sisterhood". She's a women and pro-choice.

She actually has MORE experience than HILLARY being that she was in the WHITE HOUSE when du-boosh was reading a book to children during an attack on the country.

I think most of you missed the point here. This is not intended to belittle Hillary's experience. To her credit, she was perhaps one of the most involved first ladies since Eleanor Roosevelt. I used to have deep admiration for her.

This ad represents one of the two main reasons I have opposed her candidacy from the beginning. Her candidacy opens the door for a run by Laura Bush. Hillary is a strong woman, and I do not believe her presidency would represent Bill's 3rd term. A Laura Bush presidency, however, would represent bush's 3rd term. She strikes me as the type that "knows her proper place is by her husband's side".

The other main reason I have opposed her candidacy is that to have any hope of fixing what has been done over the last few decades, we need to break the log jam in Congress. Unfortunately, Hillary is so reviled by the reich-wing, the grid lock would continue throughout her presidency. Sadly, she remains one of the most divisive politicians of our time (and before the campaign started, it was largely due to circumstances beyond her control).

We love you Hillary. If you love us, get out of the way.

Point is Elizabeth Dole has more experience than Hillary, even though her husband failed to become president. At least Liddy served at the cabinet level for two presidents.

BTW, the only doors that are being opened to Laura Bush are to the day spa.

She's as qualified to be Commaner-in-Chief as Hillary.

Last I checked we dont let generals run the country if we did we would be in a perpetual state of war. Perhaps you have forgotten the point of a General. This is just another feather in the republican hat that Hillary has chosen to don for this election.

If I stood to profit from keeping the war going, I would support her ass, too.

But I want the war to end.

Laura Bush intelligent?? She has about as much personality as a store window mannequin. One more plastic surgery, and she will make Jack Nicholson's Joker look "normal" My God, the woman is just like her husband - an empty shell. Why didn't she just stay in the background like she did the first 6 1/2 years of "his" pretend presidency??

And following this logic there is another one with even more experience - Barbara Bush - she was not only married to a president, she also gave birth to one :))))

Laura Bush would have a different group supporting her because she would attract more intelligent voters than Clinton but then again anybody would.

No. What is being said is that you tout your years in the White House as experience, then Laura Bush has the same claim as Hillary to be POTUS.

Okay. It's true. Hillary's supporters are obviously less educated if they couldn't get this obvious satirical piece.

This pisses me off. I am a huge Obama supporter and I really hate the way the Clinton campaign has conducted themselves. But, come on people, everyone knows that Hillary was very involved in policy during the Clinton administration. She got tons of crap for it. She was not that active on military affairs and foreign policy generally when compared to domestic policy. However, given the leadership roles she took on issues, her years in the WH are not comparable to Laura Bush. Give her some fucking due people. Now, she needs to take the good with the bad when it comes to the Clinton years, which she does not do. That is a fair criticism. But to say that her whole 8 years as First Lady (the kind of First Lady she was) is worth nothing seems ridiculous to me. I, as an Obama supporter, am willing to give this woman her due.
