Sources: Kathie Lee Definitely Coming To "Today"

Last week, FTVLive reported a rumor that Kathie Lee Gifford may be joining the "Today" show as the host of the fourth hour. Now, it's sounding more like this is a done deal.

The rumors are true -- sources tell TMZ that Kathie Lee Gifford is definitely going to be the new co-host of the 10:00 AM hour at "Today."

From Fox News' Roger Friedman:

Get ready. Kathie Lee Gifford is coming back.


You've probably heard the rumblings that Gifford is in talks to host the 10 a.m. hour of the "Today" show.


But I can tell you it's a done deal, and it will be happening sooner rather than later.


According to my sources, we can expect to see Kathie Lee in the anchor seat sometime before May sweeps begin, maybe as soon as April 1.

Well now I have good reason NOT to watch Today after 10AM, !! Not that I did. She is the worlds worst, when she makes those facial twitches, ye gads what were they thinking? Yes I agree JENNA is great, she should have more show time. NBC/MSNBC really going down the tubes!!!!!

So I guess viewers will get daily updates on Cody and what a wonderful marriage she has to Frank.

Ever see the woman Frank was having an affair with? She was definitely someone I could see Frank getting it up for because Kathy comes across as getting pregnant through in vitro fertilization since sex is just so icky and messy and besides she has to keep her hair and makeup perfect 24/7.

Never know when you are going to have to run down to the local sweat shop to pass out 20 dollar bills in front of the press, ya know?

The producers are crazy. They have someone already on the payroll - Jenna Something who does Sunday mornings with Lester - who is bouncy and fun the way Katie was when she started -- they'd do better to jettison Meredith AND Kathy Lee and let Jenna have a run at the ratings. I think they are trying to appeal to people MY age (50's), but I've had enough of mommies and "women's health" - I'm sick to death of it!
