It's very sad that the HRC campaign is stooping to such low tactics. I told my friends that the next thing HRC would do is call him Black. I was joking when I said it, but there is was in GF. If she thinks she can say or do anything to get elected at anyone's expense, then she's already lost. Doesn't she know the world is watching? This has been one of the saddest days in Democratyc history. The party who is suppose to speak for everyone only has one Democrat running in the primary, and that's Barack Obama.

We think it is a legitimate reason that people out of ethnic pride, or what have you, would support a candidate. Although when Alan Keyes runs his support among African-American does not seem to register a great deal, though he is a Black man.
We also noted, when Hillary's coronation seemed a sure thing, most African-American were very supportive of her, and dismissive of Barack Obama, when he was an unknown quantity; but a funny thing happened on the way to the primaries,
African-American, and many other voters, began to see the man Barack Obama is,
and they began to pay attention, and they liked what they saw and heard.
At the beginning of the campaign we used to ask many African-Americans about
Barack Obama and they were most concerned about issues, and where he stood about them.
Most people of Irish descent, were proud that JFK was running and that he had Irish roots; so were Women and Italians when Geraldine Ferraro was chosen as
Walter Mondale's running mate. In Astoria, Queens (in NY) the people of Greek descent
were overflowing with pride, and collecting cash to support Mike Dukakis, who had Greek roots. Even Hillary Clinton stretched the band to find that she had Jewish roots, accident? No, the Jewish vote.
Therefore, it is nothing unique, unusual, out of the norm, that African-American support in droves Barack Obama, in part because of ethnic pride; but also because the man has a solid message of hope and change worth listening to. It is not about race; it is about the issues, and who could best champion the people and at the same time, because of his mettle and judgment is ready to be Commander in Chief. Ferraro is right! The Obama campaign is crying foul because she is pointing out the completely obvious fact that Obama has so little to qualify him to be President. He is the recipient of a great urge on the part of Democrats to vote for a "change", and a self described "change agent" who to top it off is African American is simply perfect in their minds. Funny how Obama goes into a feinting spell about racism every time he loses an election and calls for Hillary to fire someone he accuses of racism.
Yet he's been going to a racist Church for over 20 years to listen to a racist pig and he's never had any problem with all of that racism.
Obama's frequent cries of racism are always targeted at his opponent, but never at the racist he calls his mentor, the guy who holds an official position in Obama's own campaign.
