I'm sure the first thing I thought was, "How many diamonds am I?". That's really funny. I actually couldn't and still can't believe this all. And thank God [goddess?, budda?] that I didn't actually ask myself that question. Nor, did it even occur to me. But, in 1984, which seems to be the mentality of this question, I guess we all must ask.......and answer....and go along with the crowd. Liberal!

Your sense of self worth shouldn't be based on simply comparing youself to others. You should live your life based on what you want to be and do, not on how others judge you.

Living your life to simply win the approval of others is the reason so many people are unhappy.

I like to think of myself as a diamond in the rough. Under the tattered sweatpants, hairband, dog hair, dirt and wine stains... is a 7-diamond woman. Okay, well... maybe that was 10 years ago. I think I'm losing a diamond every five years now. I might owe diamonds by the time they scatter my ashes. But my hubby says he really prefers the muted scratched sparkle of a nice cubic zirconia anyway. See why I married him? What a guy!
