With the Democratic presidential contenders crisscrossing Pennsylvania in a provincial battle for the nomination, presumptive Republican nominee Sen. John McCain will seize the world stage next week during a six-day trip to Iraq, Jordan, Israel, England and France.

The trip, which will include meetings with Jordan's King Abdullah in Amman, Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert in Jerusalem, Britain's Prime Minister Gordon Brown in London and France's President Nicolas Sarkozy in Paris, will burnish the senator's already lengthy resume on foreign policy.

Hopefully he finds a receptive audience for his B.S. somewhere, be kind of telling if you had to go to a foreign country where they didn't understand what you were about to get people to 'vote' for you, eh?

LOLOL

Simple explanation, Ahmedinejad went to Iraq and was welcomed, McCain had all the protection
he could get, very telling. And to retain all the Bush's Tax Cuts, well, I hope all those voting for McCain get that piece of the pie.

This is McCain's last ditch effort to convince world leaders that he's not completely insane.

I always said GWB would be the instrument by which America rode to her decline. Now we see Bush intends for McCain to finish us off as an economic power.

It's not a bad idea for McCain to visit his clients in the mid east now, leaving open his schedule later for Stateside campaigning. Also it is a good idea for him to find out exaclty what the Israelis are expecting of him so he can plan his campaign and administration accordingly.

McCain does not have as much money as Obama so he'll need to make his case in the strongest terms possible to the Israelis and hopefully they will be generous with the purse strings so he can get to work on their case post haste when he takes office - NOT!!!!

of course he will. what better way to conduct a 100 year war than with tax cuts and no bid contracts for your friends.

You must be freaking kidding me.

He is raising campaign funds from foreigners.
With no one to stop him he will get away with it.
This trip is to raise money. And the MSM will give him a pass.

Of course he will, you haven't quit finished destroying our country, he will finish the job for you, that's why we cannot allow another GOPER in the WH for years to come if ever again. Every Recession has begun under a Republican, that should tell you something about how they work.

If the dollar becomes worthless, what difference will the tax cuts make?

BUSH, I did not get a Tax Cut. NO ONE DID!

What we got is a 53% devaluation of the dollar and our networth! We pay taxes now on currency gains only where we would have paid no taxes at all. Thats a 100 percent plus tax rate!

I hate taxes. But when you finance them and a war on a credit card... you dont get a tax cut and some one else has to clean up your mess... again.

IDIOT!

Get real America--who do you think is going to pay the $10 trillion debt we've amassed? Is it fair to leave to your children and grandchildren? Of course there will be a tax increase or a shell game moving funds into things called fees, higher prices all around which will bring in more sales tax revenues. Something will take the place of the collapsing property taxes collected by the states. Just wait and see.

Stopping in Israel huh? I see. Iran, watch out.

I would hope McCain would drop taxes more, at least let those that paid through the nose get a rebate check! Those that did not pay any fed tax should just be happy with the welfare.

Oh that is smart we have a huge deficit doubled by Bush due to his wrong headed tax cuts and McCain will continue them? Ya that is real smart, how can these people be rational humans? It is like getting a lower payiing job but still spending like you make twice as much. If you are goign to dump billions a day in Iraq SOMEONE has to pay for it and the future generations are the wrong ones to have to pay for it the War mongers like Bush and McCain should have to pay for it Cheney too.

What Bush meant was that McCain will preserve Bush's tax gift to the rich!

Well, seeing how McCain polished the Iraq trip, saying how safe it was with helicopters, flak jackets, and armed guards, I do not think he is any more believable than the rest of the repugs. This man has passed his "use by" date. Plus, he has proven that he will lick anyone's boots to become president. No honor, no soul, no ethics, no standards, NO WAY is he presidential material.

well stated. loved the "use by date" remark. he has sold his soul to be pres. oh the power for the want of power.

mc war will give us mc same. maybe he wants to drop a bomb on iran while there or take a walk in a market to show how safe it is there.

mc war needs to take that new preacher friend of his with him so the preacher can rub elbows with the muslims. while there the preacher can tell the iraqis in the marketplace we need to kill all of them because they follow the devil. that should work. are not the evangels wonderful people so full of love.

living in az i win either way. if mc war is elected pres he leaves az as a senator if he does not win then he will not be able to bomb iran to fix his ego from vietnam as a born loser. he would have bombed every man woman and child to win the vietnam war to stroke his ego. bet he thinks of himself as a christian wannta bet on that one.

by the time the demos get through destroying each other at the convention he will be a shoe in.

I guarantee that when the Brits see and hear McCain, they will be positive that the Americans are a bunch of losers. First, Georgie, who is widely despised over there is in office for 2 terms. Now this strange looking, crazy talking McCain shows up with Stepford wife. The "my friends" B>S> will not fly over there. They are SICK of their troops being slaughtered because of Blair siding with Georgie. They were against the invasion of Iraq from day one. To hear McCain talk about "other wars" will turn them off completely. McCain is not the man for the job of president, any more than Georgie was. He should retire and take care of his health. It isn't as though he HAS to work, unlike many other senior citizens.

..."will burnish the senator's already lengthy resume on foreign policy."

How so? Is he making policy decisions on his own now? Good Lord he must think we're all fools. He's lost his mind...

It's all old Republican presidential candidates. I seem to remember Reagan and some hostages being released on his first day in office. I wonder how that happened.

Read the article.

"The trip ... will include meetings with Jordan's King Abdullah in Amman, Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert in Jerusalem, Britain's Prime Minister Gordon Brown in London and France's President Nicolas Sarkozy in Paris."

Meanwhile Obama is making phone calls to Al Gore.
