Fox News Obama Watch
Chris Wallace told me last December that the Democratic candidates were "damn fools" for refusing to debate on Fox, and that Barack Obama -- unlike Hillary and, famously, Bill Clinton -- declined requests to appear on "Fox News Sunday."

This morning, Wallace launched the "Obama Watch."

Showing perfect News Corp. synergy, Obama was displayed in split screen a la "24," with the ticking time clock at 730 days, 13 hours, 53 minutes and 9 seconds. And counting.

That number dates to May 2006, when Wallace said Obama first agreed to a face-to-face interview on "Fox News Sunday."

Read more here.

Watch the video below:

Chris Wallace, the host of Fox News Sunday, started an "Obama Watch," essentially a countdown of how long it's been since he asked Obama to appear on his show.

Just because they call themselves "FoxNews," doesn't mean that it is op-ed all the way.

All democrats should refuse to be interviewed on this stupid network.

Let republicans just talk to each other, till they get sick of themselves.

Is this supposed to bother Obama?

It's like an SNL skit.

Obama was on MSNBC last week.
I doubt they had to beg to get him on.
I thought his camp called to set it up.

FOX is clueless & desperate to pull this stunt.
I almost feel sorry for the bastards. Almost.

Fox News is scared to death of Obama, that's why they're attacking him and not Hillary. Their news sucks! I wouldn't watch their program if it were the only news on the air. The program is filled with a bunch of bimbos and bigots. They should change their moto to, Fox News the Bimbos and Bigots Network. Face it Fox, evil deeds will never conquer good deeds !

NO informed person takes Fox news seriously.

They prey on the uninformed and the ignorant.

The key word in your comment is "informed."

How often does that word come before "voter"?

Who would want to interview with a " RACIST NEWS NETWORK" such as fox? Obama refuses to entertain the network because they outright lied about him. Lets count the lies shall we:

1. Obama attended a Muslim Madrassa as a child
2. Oh did you hear,... Obama is a secret, covert, and undercover Muslim.. lol
3. Obama isn't black enough, or is he?
4. Michelle is unpartriotic... she's never proud to be an American.
5.Obama's pastor is a racist, and birds of a feather must flock together.
6. And fixed.. I mean FOX news, loves African Americans

I watch Fox News once during the 2004 election. The female anchor was interviewing one of the veterans who had served alongside Kerry and would appear in support of Kerry at the convention. Her first question? "How does it feel to be used by Kerry for political gain?" Now that loaded question would have resulted in a grade of F had I attempted to use it way back in my high school journalism class. But on Fox that is the norm. What that means is what is readily apparent to many on these boards. Fox thrives only by assuming its viewing audience is lacking in intelligence and intellect, and the gullible masses that watch fail to realize they are being duped by the same forces that will pander to their fears, religion and ignorance to keep the corrupt who will rob them blind in power. These are the people who, while they lose their jobs and their homes, are fleeced by their credit card companies, and are injured by dangerous products, sleep comfortably knowing "no one's gonna take their guns and that gal next door won't get no abortion."

LOL!!! this is pure comedy! That network is even more of a farce than it was during the lead-up to the Iraq War. I hope they keep their clock running for the next 9 years while he's Prez. They won't be able to keep it going, however. Stories will come out examining why Barack won't strengthen his favorability with the 90% of the country who are smart enough to know that Fox isn't a real news network.

Obama was interviewed on FoxNews Friday for about 10 minutes, regarding the ruckus Fox is trying to make about his pastor. Although he didn't sit down with Hannity or anything (it was some unknown junior Fox reporter), he did a fine job of facing them down.

I wouldn't have blamed him for blowing off FoxNews though, because obviously it is the most biased propaganda network going.

You HuffPo libs are just as stupid as all the dems who TRY to ignore Fox News. Like it or not, Fox News is as important in this country - to potential voters - as are all the other cable news channels put together. Check the ratings. Check likely voters who watch cable news.

Just because you feel all this really big hatred and stuff doesn't mean it's important, or that it will affect an election.

If the dems (esp. Obama if he's the candidate) continue to shrug off Fox News they will be severely criticized, because normal know that all of the accusations against Fox are scurrilous and specious. Fox's competitors tacitly agree that "Fox No Good!" but that's because of competition, not because they really think it's Faux News or First Noise, or whatever other names the mature people can think of to call Fox News.

Best regards

By all means please tell me then why any good self respecting liberal shoud appear on Faux News? George Bush ignored every major news outlet for Faux News exclusives. Anyone who thinks that they are fair and unbalanced is likely to vote for Hillary if they believe that shit. Everyone who really pays attention to the news and current events sees Faux news for exactly what they are...lying sacks of shyt who have no shame, nor a sense of morality. Faux news is irrelevant...just like repugnantans in the next election.

Voters who watch Fox News without realizing it's propaganda are already lost. I hear rat poison is also very popular in this country.

Just amazing. Just because someone replies with common sense does not automatically make them liberal. Also like conservatives- those to the far right and liberals -those to the far left, they both represent a minority politically. The rest are Democrats and Republicans with moderates in the middle. Now regarding Fox Netwrok with a channel claiming to be a news station. They do on occassion report news but if you watch regularly you will see they spend much more air time doing Tv style talk shows with politicians and pundits. The hosts for the most part are admitted conservayive Republicans. Some have subbed for Rush on his show. Rush makes it very clear only right wing conservatives will ever do his show. Fox is not a news station, period. Wake upi over there on the right...
facts, just the facts

That's *Mister* Lib to you, nation-wrecker.

Your argument makes as much sense as Reagan presenting his case for democracy in an interview to Pravda simply because they had readership sewn-up in Russia.

I don't understand why Barack Obama wouldn't go on Fox News. After all, they gave such a fair and balanced coverage of the 2004 Democratic Party Convention that no one could possibly accuse them of conservative bias.

And just when the special effects guys got the horns and the "666" they were going to superimpose on Obama's head just right.

He has gone on FOX News before. Just not Chris Wallace's show. Man, Chris was once a pretty good reporter. What do they put in the Kool-Aid over at FOX. Sen Obama should go on the show. Why not? What harm would there be? He is very disarming and after a few pointed questions they will gie him some softballs. It would be a great chance to reach out to the electorate that only hears what they want to hear about him.

I agree, Dave-There are some people on the right & some people on the left & a whole bunch of people in the mushy middle, who don't like politics, don't pay much attention to it, but do vote-Among these middle folks are Fox viewers-Fox is having Bill Clinton on for a long interview next week-They had Hillary on after her Ohio win-Rove said most presidents were born in October & they asked what month she was born in-She replied "October!-Thank you Karl!"-It was nauseating-She was actually flirty with Karl Rove-But I digress-I'm confident that Barack could appear on Fox or any network to the benefit of his campaign-He's a big boy & to know him is to love im-Besides, I'm not willing to allow the Clintons to have ANY advantage-
