Fox News Obama Watch
Chris Wallace told me last December that the Democratic candidates were "damn fools" for refusing to debate on Fox, and that Barack Obama -- unlike Hillary and, famously, Bill Clinton -- declined requests to appear on "Fox News Sunday."

This morning, Wallace launched the "Obama Watch."

Showing perfect News Corp. synergy, Obama was displayed in split screen a la "24," with the ticking time clock at 730 days, 13 hours, 53 minutes and 9 seconds. And counting.

That number dates to May 2006, when Wallace said Obama first agreed to a face-to-face interview on "Fox News Sunday."

Read more here.

Watch the video below:

Chris Wallace, the host of Fox News Sunday, started an "Obama Watch," essentially a countdown of how long it's been since he asked Obama to appear on his show.

My GOSH, amazing just HOW BADLY the conservative media wants a McCain/Clinton ticket.....LOL.

They, Limbaugh and FOX, will stoop to new lows to assure she is the candidate. Hillary, girl, just stay on message and don't get the way of your conservative media surrogates.....you yet can DESTROY you party. Where in the hell is Howard Dean, Pelosi, and Gore in all this - silent, AWOL.

Republicans appear on MSNBC and CNN all the time. Should they not? Not going on FOX doesn't solve a damn thing. Maybe some voters watching might switch to the democratic side....it has happened.

C'mon Obama supporters....show enough faith in your candidate to say he can handle Fox News! It's not the President of Iran, they won't nuke us if he doesn't answer a question the way they want him to.

I think it's actually comical they would put up a clock and check in on it every Sunday. Clearly, they have a sense of humor. What's to be afraid of?? Tough questions on his campaign operation? He is running a clean, above-board, knife-free campaign...just ask him! Nothing personal, but Obama is calling out the Clinton's on personal issues known to get the ire up on many Americans...should he have to answer for that?

Would I like to see Fox News give him a taste of his own medicine? You bet I would, because none of the other networks are willing to make him tell us What Changes, and HOW? What does he plan to DO to fix the economy, the healthcare problem, and so on and so on. He answers that all these things are on his web site, and we can go there for our answers. I want to hear it from him, directly from him, and constantly so I can see if it remains consistent. Did he join this race on a whim and get so bogged down with the speech schedule that he hasn't had time yet to really think through what he will do for this nation? No problem, Ted Kennedy will take care of things for him after the election.

He should know and trust his plan like the back of his hand, and it shouldn't matter if he's telling it on ABC, FOX, MSNBC, BBC, or NPR. He should WANT to get his message out, not hide behind stirred up hornets nests for the Clintons to get all the attention....oh, wait, that's what has been working to get him his lead, now, isn't it?!

"To admit the existence of evil is to give the devil more credit than he's due." (ironically, a quote from Emmit Fox)

There is no journalism at FOX: only the absence of truth.

FOX viewers don't vote for Obama, Hillary, the closet Republican, can benefit from such a network. After all, Hillary is FOX's and Rush Lumbaugh's kind of gall!

Why would anybody who beleives what this country SHOULD stand for give aid and comfort to one of it slimiest enemies, Fox News. The lying mouthpiece of our lying King Boy George. Obama should agree to an interveiw/debate with any of Fox's trained monkeys Wallace in particuliar in a neutral setting C-Span or PBS where they would be required to answer an equal number of questions from Obama. Questions like "Hey, Monkey Boy Chris why did you so gutlessly bait and switched the agreed upon subject with President Bill Clinton subject? Or, Bill are you really as insane and criminally retarded as you come acrossed as? Why did Rupurt Murdoch support Hillary?

I never watch Fox because I don't share the viewpoint of most of it's commentators. But, it's an American audience, and this Unity/Change candidate better be willing to talk with all Americans. The problem is that Obama needs Hillary sitting beside him, otherwise, "what she said" responses won't make any sense.

If he's not comfortable enough with who he is and what he stands for, then he does need to "cherry pick" where he goes to profess his beliefs. He also needs to know that the man asking the questions will be as cowardly as Keith Olbermann. Fox will probably try to show him just what "kitchen sink" politics really means, though....and it won't be a "tea party".

Obama's pants are on fire because he wasn't careful enough in handling his matches. Should he go on Fox? It's free airtime, and an audience that wouldn't otherwise listen to him. More importantly, it's a change for him to reach across that aisle and prove to the right that he can be their friend, and work with them, too.

What's creepy is the notion that people who watch FAUX NEWS are even true Americans in any sense of that word.

Any candidate who says they'll appear on a clearly hostile network to their views and doesn't appear is a gutless candidate.

Hate Clinton all you want. Hate McCain all you want. They have the guts to show up on the networks that deride them and they defend their views.

Obama isn't helping himself.

Chris Wallace is a dick. Everyone knows that.

Deal with him and challenge him by showing up and defending your platform.

Otherwise, step down.

Winning in TEXAS is like winning in HELL. Texas and Florida-both right wing dens of stupidity. Winning in either is nothing to be proud of.

This just in:

A white 50-something male came within 35 feet of leading candidate for the Democratic nomination for President of the United states Barack Obama and screamed, "*%^$# America!" several times and Mr. Obama didn't lift a finger, express outrage, or even attempt to make a citizens arrest!

You would think this self-proclaimed patriot would at least hire his own private police squad to patrol the vicinity he's in and crack down on these potential terrorists. What an outrage!

And Barack calls himself an American?

At least Bush hired Blackwater and tortures these maniacs. Now that's a God-fearin' American.

And Bush isn't a scared to go on Fox neither. What a hero.
