"Listen Dude, Do You Really Want The Sex?" Howie Kurtz Tears A Page From The Daily Show
Howard Kurtz had fun this weekend with his fellow newsies on "Reliable Sources" over the ubiquitous Eliot Spitzer sex scandal (and we already noted how much our Howie hates having to show that salacious b-roll!), noting how the news orgs covered the emerging details of the Spitzer wiretaps, specifically call girl "Kristen's" confident assertion of how she'd handle the former governor's requests for things that Kristen "might not think were safe: "I'd be like, listen, dude, do you really want the sex?" "Reliable Sources" typically employs the quick-edit montage of clips to illustrate coverage of a story, but this seemed more like something out of the Daily Show in the awkward reading aloud of the key line by newspeople (though by now ABC's Brian Ross is old hat at this - his reading takes the prize for most dramatic).
