I Like ItI Don’t Like It
Joe Eats
You can take him out of his trademark pullover and dress him up in a shirt and tie, but you can't take the casual morning feel out of "Morning Joe" host Joe Scarborough. In the opening segment of the premiere of "Race for the White House" — David Gregory's new show and the canceled Tucker Carlson's replacement in the 6 p.m. time slot — Joe tried to sneak a bite while Rachel Maddow spoke — and he got caught.

It was a Starbucks Espresso Brownie, Joe tells HuffPost, and says, "Now I eat during commercials."

Listen to the rustling of the packaging during the first ten seconds below, and check out Joe's face when he realizes he's been caught:

Cookie? Donut?

Wow, he eats....big whoop.

On the other hand, Rachel Maddow is the most underrated analyst out there. She should have her own show on MSNBC.

Rachel Maddow is indeed a first-rate analyst. Why MSNBC management allots so much time to Scarborough and his right-wing drivel is beyond me. Send him off to Fox.

Rachel would have her own show if she weren't gay.
I agree she is the most talented analyst.

America is not ready for an Ellen Degeneris doing the news.

Why not? She is great!

I love Rachael Maddow! I wish there were a way that her Air America radio show could be broadcast on MSNBC. She's intelligent without all the gook Scarborough brings to the airways. There's an idea - bring intelligent reporting to the airways!!!!

Why does he, Matthews, Tucker, or Buchanan taking so seriously commenting on the Democratic race?

its called ratings! But they're reporting on anything - and this 'race for the white house' show looks like it's gonna be a new low of nit-picky details - we need this whole primary season to be over before they start creating their own stories!!

Ugh!! MSNBC's "new" show is just a shuffling of all their talking heads into a different format. It would be nice to see some new people in there.

The thing that is surprising is Scarborough had his foot out of his mouth long enough to eat anything.

This should be "The Rachel Maddow Show." As the white-male power structure gave it to Gregory, another net should grab Rachel.

I do think David will need to have different opinions, rather than the same people thru out the show.

A lot of people snack their way in and out of depression. Scarborough is hurt by the rejection of his incompetent party and ideology.
