Halle Berry and beau Gabriel Aubry have named their newborn daughter Nahla Ariela Aubry, her rep confirms to Usmagazine.com.

The couple welcomed the 7 lb, 4 oz girl on Sunday.

Congratulations, Berry Family! And also for picking a name that, while unique, has not "jumped the shark" in the realm of celebrity baby names. We, the collective fans of your hotness, are pleased that you passed on the following names:

Franken, Boysen, Logan, Harry, Rasp, Dingle and Huckle are right out. Everyone knows these are boy's names.

Lingon, Straw, Boo, Blue, Dew, May and Shrub (not that you would ever burden an innocent child with a name recalling our Shame In Chief).

Again, congratulations on the baby and remember: Friends don't let friends name their child "Motorhead".
