New York Times Fails To Mention Fox Anchor Megyn Kelly's Divorce In Wedding Write Up

Did The New York Times give preferential treatment to a V.I.P. in its wedding pages?

I know, I know -- when has the Times ever not given preferential coverage to a V.I.P. in its wedding pages? Still, there are rules, and one of them got ignored in yesterday's "Vows" column about the nuptials of Fox News host Megyn Kelly.

Although Times practice calls for previous marriages to be mentioned in wedding announcements, there was nothing in yesterday's story about Kelly's prior union, which ended in 2006. Making the omission more glaring, Kelly only stopped using her married name -- Kendall -- a little over a year ago. (Indeed, some of her colleagues still haven't stopped using it.)

Who was the clergyman? Where can I get transcripts of his sermons? I bet he says a lot of outrageous things.

oh my..who in the world cares. Does anybody expect Fox to do anything the way they expect others to do it. Good grief..I don't care if this person was married 12 times and divorced nine.

The NYT continues its spiral to oblivion. Though the nuptual announcements & 'society' pages are often ignored the weight of the errors on these pages speeds up the NYT's spiral to oblivion. Is it true that bookies are taking bets on the year, month & date when the NYT ceases publication? Since the NYT isn't owned by Time-Life, yet, there probably won't be attempts to revive the NYT similar to Time-Life's repeated attempts to revive the once profitable, ad filled, high national circulation, photo weekly LIFE. Though LIFE & the NYT could be combined to appear as a shopper in Naranga, Fl if it became a franchise operation.

Sheesh, who cares? Or does this make HuffPo because it's a Fox employee?

BTW, thanks for shutting down the comments on the only topics today (Obama's speech) that anyone wants to comment on.
