As critical as she is about the Bush administration's conduct of the Iraq war, Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton gave a relatively rare shout-out to the military's top man in Baghdad, General David Petraeus, calling him "an extraordinary leader and a wonderful advocate for our military."

The commanding general, who has been a target of antiwar opponents and liberal groups like Moveon.org, has been a strong supporter of the escalation of American troops in Iraq, a strategy that Mrs. Clinton and Senator Barack Obama have opposed.

I guess she's right if being a hand-puppet for the military arm of the Republican party makes you an extraordinary leader (insert laugh track here).

This woman is unbelievable. This is the guy in charge of the "surge" who with a straght face lied to congress about the so called success.

This woman's "35 years of experince" have taught her nothing.

Well, here is another reason to add to my list of why I think Hillary is a Republican, and not the decent kind.

There goes that Clinton judgement again. Admiral Fallon, before he became CENTCOM commander, referred to Petraeus as a "suck-up".

Actually, Senator, I see General Petraeus as more of a great follower.

Wow Clinton is really ticking off the MoveOn.org crowd who labled Petraeus as 'betrayus'

A wonderful leader, but not as experienced a Hillary!

That's why she'll advise him on military strategy!

This seems to be the new DLC tactic to win over the red state vote.

Pander to republicans, adopt their policies, become Bush, and you win in the general.

But what vote for a Democrat that has cease being proggressive?

The recently retired Admiral Fallon alluded to the fact that Petraeus is a toady for Bush and Cheney.
The sad part is that the politically savvy Petraeus is part of the Bush/Cheney strategy to save face while American soldiers and Iraqi are still dying.

That's funny I heard a veteran at the Winter Soldier hearings call him a cheerleader.

Hillary again claims that GW Bush brought freedom to Iraq and not death and destruction.

Hillary Clinton, "And I believe that at the same time that we have to make clear to the Iraqis that they have been given the greatest gift that a human being can give another human being " the gift of freedom. And it is up to them to decide how they will use that precious gift that has been paid for with the blood and sacrifice and treasure of the United States of America."

Hillary supporters, do you believe GW Bush gave Iraq the gift of freedom?

Fits a pattern ... she will probably stab him in the back in a speech next week if it benefits her.

I wanted to read all the HRC haters and hate spewers in general, before I announce.....OBama has to given the Gen. compliments in the last week. Don't believe me do a little research on your own, instead of just hate spewing. Hey actually I hope you don't bother to check into little things like facts, I enjoy watching narrow minded idiots spew hate towards someone over something, especially when OBama has done the same thing. (I like the hypocrisy and the irony in it)
