OK, so Joe Klein mis-speaks sometimes. Like this instance. And when he denied on the record that he wrote Primary Colors. Facts really don't matter when it comes to politics. It's what people BELIEVE that's important. And Anonym--uh--Klein's heart is in the right place. Why else would he have written that fawning novel about the Clintons?

Is any outlet brave enough to show any sermons from Rev Wright that refer to anything other than the comments we continuosly see. This would show why people why he has been allowed to speak for 20 years without being crucified. Many people parrot the line that he's been doing this for 20 years. Well, 9-11 was 7 years ago. How have Pat Buchannon and Tucker and Klein and Hannity, been able to convince anyone to pay them to add their small minded comments to the debate on any topic.

It looked pretty obvious from Klein's expression that he was going to try a jokey-metaphor and didn't know if it would fly. It didn't. Big deal. I'm sure the late night comedians will be referencing this sting ray thing at some point. It's not as if TV or the blogoshere is guided by taste at all.

The goddam stingray killed a woman, unpredicted, unexpected, violently and quickly...the man's comment was right on. If the family of the poor departed woman can't handle that...too damn bad. How can we allow ourselves to be boxed into Political Correctness? We are descendants of the Americans who kicked British ass and stood over the bodies saying...Not on my watch, mate! Another example of news as entertainment. It's ridiculous that if you watch what passes for news on CNN, MSNBC, FOX, and some of the broadcast news. You learn absolutely nothing, except which side of the issue there pundits and experts are on. What happened to facts as news instead of opinions? There a a few of the guest on these news shows that actually try to be unbiased. You could put up paper cutouts where they sit and 95% of the time we could fill in the opinion of this guest or that one on any given issue or event. This isn't news reporting it's throwing a piece of meat into the lion pit to see witch side can be the loudest or more persistent in pushing their views.

Thank God for the internet , PBS, NPR, Air America, etc... because we would have no idea what is happening in the real world.

What the news today is that Gallup is talking about Clinton leading in the polls. I'd like to know who they polled. It sounds fishy to me. Last time I looked Obama led in delegates and the popular vote. So how do we find out who Gallup is polling?

Time has lost touch with the Times, and Newsweek appears to have it's Printers jammed back in the 80's. Anyone who has turned away from these 'TruthSpeaks' or using them on their Shows are showing how far behind they are and useless as sources of Mass Communications
WE must require Disclaimers on th emajority of 'news' outlets..just like Parental Warnings, they should be required to reveal they are only OpEds or af entertainment value. Not News. Opinions and Sensationalism. Did We pass laws requiring Truth in Advertising long ago?
I watch MSNBC but was appaulded by their Censorship of the So called 'Democratic'Debates- they were no such thing.. They were NBC approved cadidate debates- They should have lost their licensing and been fined for Faiure to meet Advertised Promises! anyone who is eligible to Run for PUBLIC office should be heard by the People of this Democracy. Any else is Big Brother and inherently UnAmerican!
