Renee Zellweger, star of the upcoming "Leatherheads," dished to In Style's April issue about hair, her prom and costar and friend George Clooney. Highlights include:

Her Green, Flamenco-Style Prom Dress:
"I didn't know you shouldn't wear forest green in May in Katy, Texas." And the hair can be summed up in three words: "Eighties, curling iron, hairspray. I defied Mother Nature and all her humidity with every ounce of tenacity and hairspray I had. I shellacked my bathroom countertops with the residual spray."

Her Newly-Short Hair:
"It's still attached to my head, by the grace of God," laughs the star, who has gone from brunette to blonde and everything in between. She describes the transition as "Ronald McDonald red, faded to pumpkin, then it was pink, then mango."

"Leatherheads" Director and Costar, George Clooney:
"I heard George was making a movie and I said, 'When?' If he had asked me to make peanut butter sandwiches for the catering, I would have said, 'Crunchy or smooth?' It's never less than great with him. People want to make an effort for him," says Renee.

Acting:
"I like the struggle of my work," she confesses. "I like when you're shooting in 47 degrees below zero and everybody looks the same--like a stack of big black tires with Herman Munster boots on--and it's hilarious and we're getting done what we'd hope to do that day. That's gold."

Having a Low Day:
"I'm fortunate; I think I was born happy," says the optimist. "If I have a bad moment, it doesn't take me long to switch the gear back. I say, 'That sucked,' and move on."

Lovely photoshop. This women has done more pulling and injecting into her face than just about anybody. Go back and watch Jerry Mcguire and notice how much surgery she's had.

What a doll...If I were a guy (or a different kind of girl), I'd go for her in a big way!...

There are a couple of celeb-types that you just know would be great fun at a party...She's way up on that list (along with Diane Sawyer, Kirstey Ally...what a pj party THAT would be!)

As it is, I guess I'll just have to settle for coveting George (and Johnny, and Brad, and...!)

Again: "dishes Clooney?" Why does HP feel compelled to descend into a tabloid on frequent occasion? The contrast between the serious and important side of this website, which often discusses important problems in our culture, and the website acting out those same problems, is jarring. Another recent headline said "why do men cheat?" That' like asking when you stopped beating your wife--it's offensive baloney (particularly to those of us who DON'T). Watch it, HP--you have plenty of rivals that don't descend to muckraking. Stop contributing to the problems we are trying to fix!

"dishes" clooney? more like praising him. another misleading negative sensational headline from HuffPo, is the editorial person of this section vying for a job at TMZ?

"Dishes" means "shares the inside scoop" -- it implies nothing negative. Relax!

She reminds me so much of Doris Day - but more liberated in her range because of the times.

Doris Day never reached her potential.... a great comedic actress and singer -- but she never left her comfort zone...

Renee is just magic - channeling Day - and breaking loose.

She's in the movie? I'll see it.

Ditto. I'd even watch a film of her making peanut butter sandwiches. The cherry on top is that George Clooney is in the movie too. Two great stars.
