I was really hoping that we'd be beyond this crap. I find it incredible that some people are still hung up on race. O' Reilly is an idiot. Sure, he knows what he's doing. But it's an idiot's domain to believe that his own shortcomings are the blame of others. It's also the idiot's domain to use such smear tactics. To accuse Ms. Huffington of Nazi like behavior in the operation of her web site and then to have letters such as these on his is probably what Karl Rove would do (or has done?). The world works like this:
First is the individual. Then comes the family, the neighborhood and then the town. The towns form a state that joins others to form a federation. But the individual comes first. If you equate one person with another for sperficial criteria, you demonstrate a profound lack of understanding of humankind. BillO is just such a person.

A bit of news about Fox. They still can't get licenced in Canada as a news outlet. The only licence they can get from the CRTC is as an "entertainment" channel, they are not considered a news channel at all.

Just goes to show that you should approve EVERY comment. It's not hurting free speech in an era where every mm-mm can have a mm-mm blog. I'm sure that HuffPo would have less to block than, say FOX Anything, and it may delay many posts, but it'd be worth it not to have to read people just being rude or vicious often to the point of provocation. I say a society that values decency, is one that doesn't give every mm-mm mm-mm a forum for hatred.
