Fan-damn-tastic! And that's coming from a former Clinton supporter.
This young woman is intelligent, well-spoken, and shames me a little because at her young age, she is more active than I was, or have been, in her own future.
Funny. Clearly she had aspirations of being "discovered" for fame when she acted/modeled for these image clips. Hillary's campaign ad team gave it to her. She gets her fame, and should just say "thanks".
The ad didn't scare me or anyone I know. What scares me is how many people let the media spin and analysis of these things do their thinking for them.
What scares me is that your chosen candidate voted for the Patriot Act two times.
It "didn't scare me or anyone I know." And do you think your little sample of acquaintances is meaningful? Especially when you probably don't even realize what people are talking about when they say "fear" in this context.
Can't you just look at the ad and see the intent? If not, try it again with objectivity. If that fails, ask yourself: what do sleeping children in an American bed have to do with phones ringing in the White House at 3 a.m.? Can you think of a valid reason to use the image of sleeping children?
20 years later and this young lady could be the next President of the US. She's got it all.
Bight On. Casey for first female President of the United States in 2028! : -)
On the other hand, Chelsea Clinton will be just past the minimum age requirement by 2016 - if Bill and Hillary really serious about dynasty building they might do well to think about who will follow Obama, if his candidacy really is the inevitability a lot of people "Hope" for. But that still works out perfectly. Eight years of Obama, eight of Chelsea, four years of some random republican just to show that they're not completely irrelevant anymore, then Casey gets her turn.
Note to those who are missing a funny bone, and to those republitrolls who might as well be, I'm being facetious and slightly tongue-in-cheek here. There's no need to get uppity that I'm not thinking logically. ;)
Well done Casey!
BRAVO!!!!!
yeah casey. everyone is scared of the monster! hahahahaaa.
........an
No democrat should use a scare mongering ad against another democrat, PERIOD.
Bravo young lady!
Vote Obama. End the drama!
"Vote Obama. End the drama!"
Good one! Love it!
Way to go Casey!
Your 15 minutes of fame are over.
Easy on the vitriol Kare(less)!
"I'm here to tell you that I'm not scared."
I love that line. Go Casey!
Nice story. It's good to learn that the young girl is not turning into just another typical white person.
Now now, Ramirez. This post was going so well. Here - let me clear something up for you: He was describing his grandmother, whom he loves very much, as a "typical white person" of her generation, living in a time when people were culturally conditioned towards racist ideas ....
There are a thousand different ways to describe what he meant, but clipping the sound bite to fit an agenda isn't one of them.
Try to think in full sentences. It will serve you ...
Great Job - it is really funny! What are the odds that the little girl in the ad would be such a strong Obama supporter?
Very good video! But it's Casey supposed to be embracing "Change" now, rather than embracing "Hope"?...
