Rush Limbaugh's Involvement With Illegal Cross-Over Voting For Clinton

As the board of election in Cuyahoga County, Ohio, where Cleveland is located, launches an investigation into illegal crossover voting in the state's 2008 presidential primary, a big open question remains unanswered: Will county officials go after the ringleaders of apparently illegal electioneering where thousands of Republican voters swore -- under penalty of law -- allegiance to the Democratic Party in order to vote for Hillary Clinton?

In case you missed it, Rush Limbaugh, the nation's top-rated talk radio host, was urging Republicans in Texas and Ohio to skip their party's primary on March 4 and instead cast a vote for Hillary Clinton in order to prolong the fight between her and Barack Obama. And that Tuesday, as media in both states reported, thousands of Republicans did just what Limbaugh and others had suggested -- they changed parties to vote for Clinton.

"Why does this ambulatory land mass have such a forum?"

Because people want to listen to him because he's entertaining. This is a "Free Country", and people's "forums" shant be limited by anything but the FREE MARKET. (See: Don Imus)

"Send the prick to jail"

How about sending ALL the pricks to jail? Everyone who is disagreable to the Robotic Left Mentality, incarcerate them!

Imprisoning people for political perspectives is a great way to start a TOTALITARIAN society.

PEACE.

Dear Smelly One,
I am the Liberal 2000 and 8; I will vote for Hillary; my leader told me to; even though I am not registered to do that. I will follow my leader's directions. I am the liberal 2000 and 8.

(The beekeeper wants to send the prick to jail for urging people to break the law, not for the dumb utterances that bluster out of his mouth. Get it? Yet?)

Limbaugh is a utter slime bag and ought to be prosecuted for his part in this cross-over voting. Hey, I guess George Bush could pardon him, too.

In North Carolina, unaffiliated voters are permitted to vote in the Democratic primary.

Limbaugh is a radio demagogue in the same school of the first popular broadcast demagogue, Father Coughlin of the 30s. Like Limbaugh, this guy had a HUGE listenership and sway on public thought. and even action.

And like Limbaugh, the guy was racist and fascist. Coughlin's targets were foreigners, Jews, communists and of course blacks. He mixed his politics of being anti Roosevelt and the new deal with his ugly racism and anti foreigner and anti Judaism.

While his targets are a bit different now, the language and logic used by Limbaugh is exactly the same!

Unlike Limbaugh, Coughlin was taken off the air.

If it is classified as a felony it would mean anybody convicted of it would lose their right to vote. Too bad they won't go through with it and do their job otherwise it might actually have an impact on the general election.

So you are for charging 16,000 people in one county with voter fraud? That would years and years, with no effect on the general election. Keep dreaming though.

"A staggering 16,000-plus Republicans in Cuyahoga County switched parties when they voted in last week's primary."

Now THIS guy is made of teflon.

As much as I hate to admit, he seems to slither out of everything and his lemmings love him for it.

I, for one, am reluctant to throw a log under Saint Blowhard lest I have to read another quote on how the liberals are out to get him with "non-issues."

(Secretly I hope he rots in jail, of course).

In addition to vote fraud, there is also a federal law against conspiracy:

"-HEAD-
Sec. 371. Conspiracy to commit offense or to defraud United States

-STATUTE-
If two or more persons conspire either to commit any offense against the United States, or to defraud the United States, or any agency thereof in any manner or for any purpose, and one or more of
such persons do any act to effect the object of the conspiracy, each shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than five years, or both. [...]

I wonder if there's a federal election law that covers conspiracy to commit fraud? If so, good ol' Rush may be facing some jail time. Wouldn't THAT be sweet? SWEET!!!

Here's the code: Sec. 1973i. Prohibited acts

"-STATUTE-

"[...] (c) False information in registering or voting; penalties

Whoever knowingly or willfully [...] conspires with another individual for the purpose of encouraging
his false registration to vote or illegal voting, [...] shall be fined not more than $10,000 or imprisoned not more than five years, or both: [...]"

AND

42 USC Sec. 15544

"-STATUTE-

(a) Conspiracy to deprive voters of a fair election

Any individual who knowingly and willfully gives false information in registering or voting in violation of section 1973i(c) of this title, or conspires with another to violate such section, shall be fined or imprisoned, or both, in accordance with such section.

Would you consider Obama to be wrong because the Black Panther Party supports him? I think I would rather have Rush on my side then those guys . . . I actually saw one of them on an interview that blamed the Jews for 9/11.

your point is a good one in terms of support, and your logic is indisputable, but i want to note that while your analogy has merit, there are important differences between the black panther party and rush. they lack influence and clout. they have no access to audiences. their anti semitism is born out of street experiences that have more to do with the evils of capitalism; his prejudice against blacks is born of a sense of entitlement. rush insinuates; the panthers tell you straight out what they think. one other thing, as passionate as they are about america's racism, you're more likely to get a word in edgewise with the panthers than with rush (just a feeling though).

Ask any repub and they will tell you - laws aren't meant for them - they are above the law because they are pillars of the community.

Where is their a law that says you can't vote for anyone that you want to? You can write it in for Colbert if you want to.
