WaPo Fact Checks Hillary's Kosovo Adventures

Hillary Clinton has been regaling supporters on the campaign trail with hair-raising tales of a trip she made to Bosnia in March 1996. In her retelling, she was sent to places that her husband, President Clinton, could not go because they were "too dangerous." When her account was challenged by one of her traveling companions, the comedian Sinbad, she upped the ante and injected even more drama into the story. In a speech earlier this week, she talked about "landing under sniper fire" and running for safety with "our heads down."

There are numerous problems with Clinton's version of events.

The question must be asked, is Hillary Clinton a pathological liar? Lying about having to run from gun fire is soooooooooooooooo stuuuuuuuu­uuuuuuuuuu­uuuuupid. Now the video clearly show her being greeted by officials at the plane. Man this woman just lies even when she has no reason to do so and what is more amazing is that she still has pathological supporters.

While many of us may not agree with the tactics of the Clinton campaign, and may take exception to assertions that the Clintons acted heroically in the international situations mentioned, we could recognize that name-calling polarizes the discussion. It's true that past and present administrations have been very slow to respond to humanitarian crises, to recognize genocides in places like Cambodia, Rwanda, Bosnia, Srebrenica, Kosovo, and recently Sudan-- they fail to recognize how these "conflicts" are a threat to our national interests.
By the time we sent peacekeepers to the Balkan region, the genocide was well underway; some would say the perpetrators had nearly run out of people to murder. By the time HRC visited the most serious dangers had been curtailed; that is not to say the danger level was zero.
Our history as a world power responding to crises is a painful one to read. Each one of these was a case of "too little, too late." Still, we have begun to think differently about what the meaning of the word genocide is. Politics as usual would only consider what endangers our interests abroad. A new approach to foreign policy recognizes that oppression and genocide endanger our own flourishing if we look the other way. And a new approach to domestic policy recognizes that injustice to an individual or a group endangers our flourishing as a nation.
It's hard to move ahead if we're in a standoff pointing our fingers at each other.

Its sad people expect lies from Hilary so when she is caught in one it doesnt have much impact. Well you get what you expect when the lies get bigger and bigger the American people have no one to blame but themselves.

Let's face it. Hillary has NOT been "vetted" except to confirm that she was a goodwill ambassador for Bill just like other first ladies have been for their president-husbands. Her claims about being qualified to serve as president are falling apart and she looks merely boastful and foolish, certainly not presidential.
