Spirited Clinton adviser tells the New York Times that New Mexican governor's backing Obama during Holy Week was "appropriate" and "ironic" because it was like Judas selling out Jesus.

"Mr. Richardson's endorsement came right around the anniversary of the day when Judas sold out for 30 pieces of silver, so I think the timing is appropriate, if ironic," Mr. Carville said, referring to Holy Week.

James, pot-meets-kettle, Carville. James you sound like the disgruntled fan in Bob Dylan's first "electric concert" screaming "Judas" as Dylan played his set; you're an anachronism - much like that fan - and the real Judas, who I suspect, will eventually betray Obama as well if he is the nominee - as you did John Kerry (and the American people) in 2004.

"Carville told her he had some inside news. The Kerry campaign was going to challenge the provisional ballots in Ohio--perhaps up to 250,000 of them. "I don't agree with it," Carville said. "I'm just telling you that's what they're talking about.""

So does that mean Hillary is Jesus? I think James has been drinking his wife's kool aid again.

Carville is always right. Some people are just completely ungrateful and Richardson is one of them. I used to like him too, but now I see him for the slime he is. Some actions are so telling.

Carville needs to wake up and smell the coffee. His beloved Clintons are the ones who are fracturing the party and its selfish of him to prolong this race just because the Clintons are his friends. The Clintons are over, the Bush's are over, Carville is over, we want something new.

If memory serves me right, I seem to remember Bill Richardson saying that Hilary should pull out of the election because she is splitting the Democratic party (and standing in his way of being Barak's running mate). Isn't the Democratic Party the voters not the politicians? I mean Hilary is only 100+ delegates behind and maybe ahead in the popular vote. If she pulls out now what about the voters in Pennsylvania and all the other primaries? Aren't you in favor of them having a vote in the primary? Or is your fanatical cause more important than the american voters?

And there was Barak standing right next to Judas putting his amen on this brilliant 'Democratic' idea. I think if you fanatics spewed some of your venom on to Bush and Dick Cheney, instead of Hilary, you might serve the country well. Your sexism is deafening but that's worth it as long as Barak gets elected, you must reason.

Hillary is 700,000 behind in the popular vote and since Florida and Michigan won't be counted (they broke the rules knowing there would be penalties),she is not likely to ever catch up in the popular vote.
The only fanatics are those who refuse to accept simple math, hoping for a miracle(one which will surely destroy the Democratic party) and labelling their political competitors judas.
This is not a sexist remark, but the Clinton suppoters are starting to sound shrill.Women that are truly independent do not see a vote against Sen Clinton as sexist, just as a vote Against Sen Obama is not racist.Get a grip.

James, you booked a loser. It happens. Now stop making yourself look more foolish than you have to. Shut up and convince Hillary its over and time to go back to being a senator.

Sound like James Carville is putting himself in a "state of grace." Mr. Carville needs to realize that
there are no "true friends" in politics. They are all sharks circling, and waiting, for the next drop of blood to appear in the water.

James Carvelle has allways been a big defender of the Clinton's, where are they now to defend you? Did you disguss this with them, before you put it out there? Your ship is sinking, and the Clinton's are standing on your head. Is your worship of them worth it?

Carville, needs to jump back into his Jack in the box. Its damn sad that the Clintons and their Minons think that if you work for the Clintons they somehow own your soul, Its very easy to see "who leads and who follows. And the minons who just don't know any better.

Jame Carville is and has always been the attack DOG for the CCClinton's. When he comes out of the closet , it is a sign that the Clintons are running scared . The comment that Carville made about Gov Richardson was not a nice thing to say about the Gov . The Gov has always conducted himself like a gentleman and has a lot of class . Even during the debates he took the high ground . Frankly speaking OBAMA /RICHARDSON ticket would be perfect. Hillary needs to stop while she is ahead and go out with dignity . As Richardson said , Hillary & Bill thinks the presidency is theirs to have and this is just not the case . They must realize that its all about her husband because she stayed with him during Monicagate. It is now common knowledge that Hillary was in the WH during the BLUE DRESS incident . It makes you want to know if she was not aware of what he was up to or if she even cared .

wow, is this another GOPer supporting Obama? 4,000 dead in Iraq, people losing their homes every minute, Americans drowning in debt, choosing between paying their bills, or buying food, and you think the real issue is where Senator Clinton was in the WH on a given day. You are the reason the Democrats will lose the WH in the fall, and the American people will suffer enormously.

Richardson will be one of many leaving the Clintons. I think these people are tired of the Clinton slime machine. Hillary thought she had it won, until she found different after Super Tuesday. Since then ,Hillary has been a turn off to many, after seeing her tactics she uses. Obama shows how he could lead the country with the people he has working for him. Hillary was in a downslide and didn't even have the money until she borrowed it .If she can't handle a campaign, how can she handle the country. We have to many problems in this country right now, to let Hillary and the lobbiest take what we have left.

I wonder if the Clinton campaign, so quickly willing to throw their Hispanic "friend" Richardson under the bus will do the same thing with the Hispanic vote when it is no longer politically expedient. I certainly have no doubts that the Hispanic community ought to perk up their ears at this slimy move by the Clinton agents of personal destruction.

Also, the Clinton campaign called this morning for an apology for someone's chararcterization of the Clinton campaign as like McArthy, of a bygone era [whoever did so was, ironically, right on target.] But if that comment deserves an apology, surely Carvilles reference to Judas and Christ deserve more than an apology -- a firing. When will these people go away?

Since it is March Madness time, perhaps a basketball analogy is in order. The Clinton campaign reminds me of the team that has lost the game for 9/10s of the game and now, needing to resort to desparate measures, is willing to foul every time the opponent gets the ball. It almost always fails, and bores the tears out of the fans [voters]. What it shows is that the Clintons are willing to sacrifice America, the political process, the Democratic party, the Hispanic voters, the black community and just about everything else to achieve their blind ambition.

This is typical of the Clinton Campaign.
First the former president, whose reputation must now be totally muddied by his utterances, states in so many words: "Let the fight for the Presidency be between the two who love America, Hillary and McCain."

This prompted one of Senator Obama senior aids to respond stating that it reminded him of the McCarthy days, essentially because McCarthy accused honest, hardworking and mostly very talented people of being "Un-American."

To give the former President's outrageous statement more air and space, they are now asking for an apology - this will help the message of the former President to reach deeper and be established... After all the statement is no longer the problem, it is the accusation of McCarthyism that is - ergo: "Senator Obama does not love America."

For my money, these tactics are those of a bunch who do not love the American people!

There is no loyalty in Politics, Richardson is the last example of that, Judas he is !

Media including this post are nothing but self serving ...

Only loyalty one would find are among the the hard working volunteers whe would give it all, take a leave of absence from their jobs, or school and give it all.

Hurah ! to all the volunteers , for giving it all !

I think this speaks volumns about Hillary Clinton. Ask yourself why would this man turn his back on the Clintons. If I am to believe what he says, it's the Hillary campaign and they way they have turned off many people. I, for one, have been completely turned off by the Clintons. She has been caught in blatant lies, yet the media virtually ignores them. She was FOR NAFTA as her white House documents show. Yet, she lied to the people of Ohio and won the vote. I sure hope the people in PA are smarter than that! Hillary, Bill and everything about them is negative and a real turn off. the democractic party have given them a license to tear Obama to shreds as they know this is the only way she can stay in this race. It's a real shame. We are supposed to be united in this. Obama has tried to stay above all this. The Clintons and their usual triangulation moves have metaphorically spit on Obama in order to get a reaction and then say see - he is nasty just like us. He is NOT above it all. what a joke. I think most Americans see through this but we will see.

OK, but which Jesus? Recall that Barabbas was also named Jesus!

Richardson's loyalty is rightly to the Nation first, then the Democratic party. If he believes Senator Obama is the best person for the nation and the Democratic party,he should endorse according and if someone believes that person is Senator Clinton, they should endorse her.
Some of the bloggers here need to get their heads together, this is serious business, casting aspirsions on peoples motives and labelling people traitors is infantile.

"Loyalty in politics"?

Loyalty in politics is the source of all corruption. Such loyalty is usually offered for rewards and patronage which almost always lead to transgression of the will of the people.

Are we running a Friendship Club in our Congress?
Would I want my representative to vote for the War in Iraq out of 'loyalty' to another representative?

The corruption in our political life must have reached the stage when failure to play the game in the usual corrupt way appears to some a dishonorable act!

The only loyalty a politician should have (and we know this is not true) is to his electorate - right?
