Time Magazine:

Spirited Clinton adviser tells the New York Times that New Mexican governor's backing Obama during Holy Week was "appropriate" and "ironic" because it was like Judas selling out Jesus.

"Mr. Richardson's endorsement came right around the anniversary of the day when Judas sold out for 30 pieces of silver, so I think the timing is appropriate, if ironic," Mr. Carville said, referring to Holy Week.

Don't be fooled in anyway. James Carville is speaking for the Clintons. Carville was in line to received the DNC Chairmanship over Howard Dean a few years back. The Clintons were pushing for Carville to get the position both to secure the party nomination through a strangle hold over the party leadership and as a payoff to Mr. Carville for his support. So in truth, James Carville is less of a journalist and more of a paid (bribed) mouthpiece for Hillary Clinton.

Bill Richardson''s name should be right up there with Judas. He wouldn't be known out of N.M. with the help of the Clintons. He stated he doesn't owe them anything as he performed the jobs they gave him.Can anyone imagine a class person like Jackie Robinson saying the same thing about Branch Richie. His loyalty leaves a lot to be desired. His friends better watch their backs.

Character assassination at this point is so indicative of lack of valid argument. Ths level of discourse is below the level of pitiful.

Loyalty.......? Loyalty????

See seriously this is the worst thing that I have noticed about the most of the Clinton supporters. You seemed to have learned NOTHING from 8 years of Bush. His administration was a pristine example of party and mentor loyalty. Nobody would even sneeze if it would hurt Bush.

Those days need to end.......they need to be loyal to us the american people. They need to show the integrity and grit to follow what they believe and friends and allies be damned. Not only that Bill Richardson didn't make any parting shots or takedowns.......he handled it as respectfully as he could and he is called a Judas for disagreeing that she is the person to lead this country.
They're way or the highway...........sounds like the democratic mirror image of the Bush administration
MAYBE just maybe if we had more people like Bill Richardson we wouldn'nt be in Iraq or experiencing yet again the recession that typically follows Republican economic policies.

So in your mind, Richardson owes no loyalty to the Clintons, but Barack owes loyalty to Wright? What am I missing here?

branch RICKEY. and if jackie robinson had come to the majors and been a dud, not been able to field or hit or take the pressure, how long would branch rickey have been loyal to robinson. and by the way, i don't like the implication that bill richardson the brown one, should be eternally grateful to bill clinton the white patron. that's bullshit.

"Bill Richardson''s name should be right up there with Judas. He wouldn't be known out of N.M. with the help of the Clintons...Can anyone imagine a class person like Jackie Robinson saying the same thing about Branch Richie [sic]..."

If Jackie Robinson had had a boss exuding condescension and arrogance, he'd of spit in his eye and used his UCLA degree for better, more substantive purpose.

Rickey would never have had surrogates badmouthing Robinson had Robinson, upon his retirement from the former's employ, made a good faith choice of his own free will, regardless of whether he agreed with it or not...and THAT was the essence of a European-american born in 19th century America.

Carville, like his one-time bosses, is pretty typical of those who profess to be understanding and compadres with minorities and then, when they find out those minorities are, like themselves, motivated by self-interest, reveal the patronising contempt for them they've had all along.
