Bush And Endangered Species

Washington Post:

With little-noticed procedural and policy moves over several years, Bush administration officials have made it substantially more difficult to designate domestic animals and plants for protection under the Endangered Species Act.

Controversies have occasionally flared over Interior Department officials who regularly overruled rank-and-file agency scientists' recommendations to list new species, but internal documents also suggest that pervasive bureaucratic obstacles were erected to limit the number of species protected under one of the nation's best-known environmental laws.

One does not do the things they have, nor assume the power they have merely to give it over to those whom they do not favor. You do not commit the crimes they have only to hand over the reins to your prosecuters.

It seems the Reverend Wright is an endangered species too...he hasn't been spotted in quite some time.

Really, there are no words adequate to describe the manifest evil that is Bush.

The "Decider"... the psychopath that personally intervenes to increase the incidence of cancers in Americans and their children...

One couldn't think of a more effective prescription for destroying human life than killing off the other animal species and polluting the air, water and land.

Misson Accomplished.
Plan For Victory
Clear Skies
Healthy Forests

Sieg Heil, Bush, you sadistic, evil, monumentally warped freak.

it is frightening to think how many generations will pay for his evil doings.

That is bush's lifelong mission, destroy, destroy and destroy. He knows it is mostly progressives who care about all of this so in his cowardly bullying way..this is his way of vindictiveness or in his language "I will show them". Unfortuntately MSM does not report all of the actions of this very psychotic administration and too many don't care. I don't know if this for the oil companies or the gun nuts who want to kill everything that moves in the out of doors. But Bush is crazy and he is like a spoiled demented criminal child...and he loves taking things apart. He the psyche of a meglomaniac, after all. I don't know how we can stop this. Where is Congress? Oh that's right, they are pursuing major league baseball players. I am sorry, I forgot. Remember James Watts?

Let's put it this way, a man (beast?) who can order the slaughter of millions of people for corporate good will have little trouble raping the land of its natural resources, be they plant, animal or mineral - walk in the park for this psycho.

This is no surprise; sad, tragic and preventable, but no surprise. Republicans will always choose money over everything else. Short term gain trumps future catastrophe.

But to expand this to a bigger picture; we see that even though bushCo works daily to allow the destruction of our planet, millions of true Americans push back daily to preserve it. Cutting your fuel usage by combining trips and slowing down on the roads. Contributing to a conservation group that is fighting bushCo in our courts to prevent some of these atrocities. Buying as many products locally as you can. Changing your light bulbs. Every one of these steps is a slap at bushCo that says "No! We will not go along on your train wreck to hell."

Be the change you want to see.

That's obvious every time one of you rides up on a dinosaur thumping your bible while trying to convince rational people that the world is flat and only 6,000 years old.

The vast majority of what the Bushies have done are minority positions,

where they decimate public institutions and privatize them with priorities

of, by and for corporations, ignoring the reasons why they were created.

DeBushification requires using populism to cure the ills of corporatism.

Where is RICO when needed most? Time to prosecute/impeach the Criminal First Family is long overdue. Such "hard work" indeed, gutting the will of the people in favor of corporations, over and over, and once again with a new twist! GB the InGrate, putting an end to the needless scientific inquiries and time-consuming questions and contention over evolution and intelligent design, once and for all, while proving the need for the war on terrorism, from the greatest terrorist of all. Remember to celebrate Easter on January 20, 2009, by your vote in November 2008 .

On this Easter Sunday i pose this question: If a meteor fell on the White House, and another on Crawford Texas and still another on Camp David, does this prove the existence of God?

Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (Calif.) told her caucus members during their weekly closed meeting Wednesday "that impeachment is off the table; she is not interested in pursuing it," spokesman Brendan Daly said.

What will bush and his gang of killer "F" up between now and the next election? Better yet, will any of the front running turds overturn ANYTHING this criminal organization has installed? We all know the answer to both questions. Impeachment of bush and his crime family might have at least kept these bastards occupied. Blame bush but don't leave out pelosi and he loyal opposition democrates.

jeeez, where's the Washington Post been for the past 7 years? This is news?

Why the hands off treatment for the most corrupt Secretary of Interior since the Teapot Dome days?

Gail Norton that is. Why isn't she a household word?

Maybe because the Washington Post and the rest of the corporate tools in the media gave her a free pass to engage in whatever corruption suited her.
