Clinton's "Sniper Fire" Trip To Bosnia: More Video

Hillary Clinton's 1996 trip to Bosnia is at the center of a dispute over her statements that her plane came under sniper fire. This report by Sharyl Attkisson makes no mention of dangerous conditions.

It's mind blowing that anyone out there would rather vote for this serpent over Obama. For Christ's sake, she voted for the damned war! It's as simple as that. I completely agree. Not only did she vote for this dammed war, but she also voted for the Lieberman/Kyl amendment that designated Iran’s Revolutionary Guard as a terrorist organization engaged in attacks against our troops in Iraq. This amendment opened the door to yet another unilateral act of aggression against a sovereign nation, and played right into the hands of Bush and Chaney. If our president starts another war with Iran, the blame for this will be squarely on the shoulders of his enablers in congress. On September 26, 2007 Hillary Clinton voted for this highly aggressive, pro-Bush and Chaney amendment. By contrast, Biden, Dodd and Obama did not.

she did no such thing. she voted to give the PRESIDENT authority for war based on THE LIES the Senate was told and the FALSE INTELLIGENCE they cooked up. Now the entire world knows they lied and knows about the false, invented intelligence but then, when they had to put it on the line THEY DID NOT KNOW. Neither did OBAMA. He was not in that position, but had he actually had to have made that decision, he probably would have voted Present so he didn't have to say yes or no. That's what he did as a Senator in his state, but you don't care about facts. It is foolish to keep screaming how she voted for the war, it makes you look poorly informed.

Americans knew at the time that Bush wanted to rush into war and the resolution did say it was to give Bush the authorization to use armed force. Hillary did not do her due dilligence and read the National Intelligenge brief that would have given her a major hint that there was no proof of WMDs. To this day, she refuses to admit her vote was a mistake. She says she was duped and then turns around and tries to dupe the voting public with her wild lies about her experience. There were 30+ of her senate collegues that did not vote for the war so not everybody ws in lock-step with Bush.

I've got to admit, these tendencies to tall tales makes Clinton appear uncomfortably Bush-like. A little bit of truth-stretching for political gain. Remember Bush's much heralded walk along the beach with Billy Graham where he found Jezus? Never happened. It was a politically convenient lie. Like Bush's painting of a riding cowboy thats in the White House. Bush claimed repeatedly that it represented a protestant preacher rushing to mass. No, its painting of an escaping horse thief. Again, needlessly stretching the truth for the tiniest hope of political gain.

You ignore the fact that she touted and dramatized the whole risky business thing-so yes she was implying such a thing. All us "non kool-aid" drinking folks knew the other part (being engaged in some sort of diplomatic mission) was total hooey. This woman has had zippo in executive foreign policy experience. AND, that really gave me a laugh...."most admired woman in politics"....what a hoot! She rode her husband's coattails just to win a senate seat against weak Republican opposition in New York. I once thought she was intelligent, albeit manipulative, but I don't even give her that much credit anymore. She has mismanaged her campaign in a most spectacular manner, and is only being kept in the race because the media gets better rating pretending she has a chance....which unless she wins ALL the remaining primary contests with well over 66% of the electorate, she does not. Even though Reverend Wright has said some despicable things, can you point to any example of Obama’s public record, campaign speeches or legislation supporting such beliefs?
