This morning on "Fox and Friends," co-hosts Brian Kilmeade, Gretchen Carlson, and Steve Doocy addressed Friday's show and Kilmeade's storming off the set after a dispute about Barack Obama's comments on the "typical white person." Their explanation: it was a joke, and they do it all the time!

"They got it all wrong," Doocy said of our report. "Had Brian actually stormed off the set in anger, would he have come back the next segment?"

"I walk off all the time," Kilmeade explained. "The argument was real. The walk-off was fun. We are a fun show."

Yeah it was best for Fox and this guy settle behind close doors because if they fired him the other news networks would have hired him to attack FOX. He most likely went back on to either save his neck or tried to make things look he is above the fray. It would have been fatal to FOX to let him go. This was not a joke. Yeah I believe them. LOL

A Fox News employee expressed true anger over his colleagues nitpicking THREE WORDS of Obama's speech. What does Fox do? Order him to backpedal from a moment of genuine humanity.

Of course it was staged, or fake, or whatever! Would you really expect anything else, from Fox and Friends, the most inane mind-numbingly dedicated to destroying America show on television? These fools would laugh and heckle if they saw you dying on the street. And I'm not lying.

HAHAHA....goodness what liars! That guy had to say that to save his job. We saw the faces....yep it got out of you're FOXY control and you can't put it back in the bottle. Too bad so sad....NOT! LOL

OF COURSE, they were kidding.

Otherwise, it would mean someone at Fox News actually had some journalistic ethics.

The Fox "News" team has no integrity. They will say whatever Murdoch tells them to say. They describe their work as "fun." If it is fun to habitually tear down anyone and anything on the left, than what they do is very fun, indeed. If it is fun to portray any dissent as disloyalty, than they are hilarious. If it is fun to portray complex problems as soundbites and advertisement slogans for the GOP, then they are a load of laughs.

Faux is not a news network.

It is a right wing hit squad.

Who is ever going to take Sean Hanity out behind the barn for selectively editing the Rev. Wright's comments and looping them over and over and over out of context?

He's just another kind of prostitute.

Isn't all Fox "journalism" a joke?

To say Fox has a sense of humor is as believable as to say what they report is the news.

Their "news" broadcasting is an example of the joke they play on viewers.

When I watched it the other day it didn't look as real as the screaming headline declared. But I thought maybe it was. Maybe there was one person on Fox who couldn't take it anymore. And the guy defenitely went up in my view. Guess he's just another Fox hack. And that Doocy guy, what a shmuck. Fox News is populated by hysterical Inquisitors and uncurious dullards.

Their argument begs the following question: If it was a joke, why didn't they keep it running (or walking as the case may be)? When stuff like this boosts ratings you don't explain it. You go with it. You expect and hope for precisely the media fall out this little episode experienced, and instead of trying to defuse it you take advantage of the mixed chemistry of the hosts. It seems apparent to me that Fox producers realized how bad it looked for them to be bashing Obama, particularly when Brian stormed off the set. He came back to do the next segment, because like most of his he has a mortgage to pay. It may not be true of all journalists, but the well-paid ones prostitute themselves to the interests of their executive masters and know when to censor themselves.

It looked kind of real, but it was obviously a joke, Kilmeade defends Obama's "typical white person" remarks and Doocey hits him with "you're a typical sports guy do you take offense to that".

Too bad I was watching Scarborough at the time.

But, damn Gretchen Carlson is a fine looking woman...ahem...for a married woman...I mean she looks nice

Yes, all married women are "unattractive," I suppose. As a Republican shill, TimN does not mind that Fox host's spent two hours on a throwaway remark by Obama describing his older grandmother as a typical white person of her generation in regard to certain racial attitudes. Of course, as Chris Wallace suggested they were ignoring the Richardson endorsement of Obama, the approaching fifth year anniversary of the war in Iraq, and the spiraling downward of the economy. Of course, TimN does not mind ignoring all these milestones of the failure of the Bush presidency, as long as a network can continue sophomoric attacks on Obama and TimN can rise to the challenge of their defense, is all that is important.

It seems the paging scheme in the Java script is cutting my comment off. What I'm trying to say is that I'm sorry you feel married women are "unattractive". That said, you never answered my question. For your edification: When Reverend Wright said that the US government "invented" the AIDS virus to commit genocide on colored people, when he said "G*d d*mn America", when he said the US government was importing drugs to imprison black people do you agree with Barack Obama when he said these statements were "inflammatory and appalling"? No reason to write your usual manifestos. A simple "yes" or "no" will do
