Obama Girl Is Back, And She's Ready For That 3 A.M. Phone Call

Perhaps feeling threatened by the hotness of Bill Richardson's beard, Obama Girl is back with a brand-new video wherein she once again declares herself Barack Obama's most devoted fan wearing the least clothes. In this installment, O-Girl pleads with Hillary Clinton to stop the negative campaigning (because it is so totally all her) and join her and Obama in uniting the party.* Funnier moments: Table-dancing before Hillary in the diner where the Clintons shot that Sopranos spoof; comforting her in that infamous tear-up moment; importing Bill Clinton for a musical cameo; dancing with Obama on Ellen; being in a bikini, a pair of shortie-shorts and a negligee. Also, fairly wicked lyrics invoking powerful arguments from delegate math to Dukakis ("These attacks are insane/They just help John McCain"). Clearly, the fate of the Democratic party lies in her hands! Decide whether "her" refers to Hillary or Obama Girl and then exercise your democratic right to watch the video — at this point it's more like a civic duty, really.

Note that this is Obama Girls' first video since she was featured on Saturday Night Live. Also note that this is Obama Girl's first video since "It's Raining McCain" but we're guessing the two are not related. Also note her alpha-assertion of pride of place: She was there before Chris Matthews felt a thrill run up his leg, there before Bill Richardson cut his vacation short to come back and endorse, there before will.i.am and the gang sang that yes, they could. Obama Girl, pioneer!

God bless BarelyPolitical. They do a good job at exposing what I like to call "Stuffy Whiny Kleenex Liberals". The people who think the words "fun" "sexy" and "politics" should never mix.

Also Leah Kaufman (the voice, writer, and producer) is a hero for young liberals. Her production is brillliant, if the DNC doesn't hire her up it just proves how out of touch we are.

This is offensive to women on so many levels. And yeah---it's so cool to be dressed like a bimbo and acting like you're in a video when the nation is having some of the most intellectual open dialoug it's had in years.

This is another product of this new "look-at-me" generation that is growing up on reality TV, Youtube, facebook, and an American Idol mantality. Fame at all costs.

While I support Sen. Obama until the glorious end, I wish the Obama girl would go away. She didn't bother making the time to vote (or making sure she could vote). Why does she deserve ANY attention? There are genuine supporters who are organizing, raising funds, donating... I'd appreciate it if she'd just go away... and take HIllary (or Bill) with her.

As a 48 year old woman that knows what is to live and work in a sexist environment and culture I find Obama girl and any other young woman who uses her body to sell a product hard to digest, It is sad that they don't see what is wrong with being objectified. Having said that, I will add that I find it disingenuous for women (some my age) to vote for a woman just because she is a woman. I want a woman to be president just as much as I want any other minority to be president but they have to be of higher intelligence, quality and better people than the white men that have been ruining this country for the last I don't know how many yrs. I am a feminist and Hillary is not my pick. sorry, this election is for Obama. He seems to have much more of what is needed to qualify for president. I call all my sisters to try to use your brains and be objective on the issues. Thank you

On a more serious note, I would not be very surprised if, in the more probable event of, Hillary losing the Democratic nomination she ends up running as an independant or something of that sort. The Clintons will not stop at anything to gain power once again, and it sadly evident that together with her husband they feel that they are somehow entitled to the presidency.

Good thing plenty of Americans seem to disagree though.

As an Obama supporter I think this girl should be given a Ceast and Desist order( an order of a court or government agency to a person, business or organization to stop doing something upon a strong showing that the activity is harmful ) from a court of law.She is an embarrassment to an other wise above board and dignified campaign. ...and some voters that don't have a brain ....might think she is paid by the Obama organization. How ridiculous she makes herself look when she didn't even have the sense to vote for Obama...DUH This could also be a covert smear campaign to hurt Barack like the one leveled at Harold Ford in Tennessee. ...Either way she should be stopped.
