For three days, Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama is enjoying some private down time on the island of St. Thomas, a source close to the U.S. territory's Government House in the capital of Charlotte Amalie confirmed Monday.

The source also confirmed that Gov. John deJongh "unofficially" met with the Illinois senator and his family upon their arrival at St. Thomas' Cyril E. King Airport Sunday morning.

why is this news , The people of Illinois know he has been on vacation since the second week he was in the STATE senate ... That is wehn he became the eternal candidate , first for US Senate , When he was lucky the Illinois repub party handed it to him with Peter Fitzgerald not running then Jack Ryan having sex. Then as soon as that campaign was over he started running for President.
