CNN's Political Ticker:

The CEO of a company whose employee is accused of improperly accessing the passport files of presidential candidates is a consultant to the Obama campaign, a source familiar with the firm said Saturday.

John Brennan, president of The Analysis Corporation (TAC), advises the Illinois Democrat on foreign policy and intelligence issues, the source said.

There is a lack of information here. Does anyone remember a few weeks back when Foreign policy adviser, John Brennan, left the Obama campaign because he disagreed with Obama on Telecom immunity. Mr. Brennan agreed with the GOP and current administration that the Telecom's should be given telecom immunity as part of the FISA bill.

There is much more to be learned from this investigation and, hopefully, congress will get to the bottom of it.

I wonder if Keith Olbermann is going to list himself as the "worst person in the world" because of this. The way he and MSNBC tried to terrorize their viewers with all of the conspiracy theories the night this came to light should at least merit a "bronze".

If some bored contractor snoops in a file....it is almost certain that his/her bosses (being Washington-based) will be supporters of one or more political candidates. BIG DEAL!

This just in: Employees of various companies do dumb stuff from time to time.

What does any of this have to do with it? Someone broke the law. It was NOT the CEO! So, who cares!

something tells me olbermann will keep silent on this 'passportgate' now that we see it involves obama people instead of bushies. now imagine if it was a mccain supporter and picture the hysterical rants olbermann and the huff would rant on and on about. another free pass for obamamania.

Chi......this isn't a big deal. Notice that Hillary isn't screaming about it. These are "knuckleheads."

Trying to tie them into some nefarious scheme is Obamathink.

Just some nerdy guys who wanted to see if they could "do it." The system worked. They got caught.

No harm. No foul.

Sorry to see HuffPo only posting part of the story and linking to the rest.

"Three contract emplyees [sic] are accused in the wrongdoing, including the one who works for Analysis Corp. and who was disciplined. That contract employee accessed McCain's file in addition to Obama's. None of the contract employees was identified. Learn more about the companies involved "
The other two contract employees worked for Stanley Inc. They were fired."

Hillary's files were accessed by someone else altogether.

Quite Interesting. When the story first broke, the Obaminiacs went all out, spasming with orgasmic outrage as if the very existence of the US had come under attack. MSNBC, the Bluffington Post all headlined the story, with Olberman and Chris Matthews somersaulting with glee and hinting at a right wing conspiracy or dirty tricks from the Hillary campaign. Unfortunately for them when it became clear that the the files of all three candidates had been breached, and that the CEO of one of the companies involved is a senior advisor to the Obama campaign, the story was laid to rest. The US was safe, and all was well.

Me thinks, it was a deliberate breach, designed by the Obaministas to create a diversion as and when such a diversion is required, as is the case now with Obambi not doing so well in the polls. The breach of the files needs to be pursued because the American public have a right not to be mislead by dirty tricks of this magnitude.

What a substantive post arguing the merits of Hillary.

LOL!!

Methinks it has nothing to do with any of the candidates. It's probably just low-level employees, getting their kicks by looking up famous people, unaware that their actions are logged. Just like the employees at UCLA getting fired for looking at Britney Spears' medical records.

I have to agree with the other posters. the "Why Obama Chaneged his Name" was pure garbage. I read half of it saw it going know where bailed from reading. I considered it a filler article. Is that the Prob HuffPo? You've got to cycle the stories? You've got to make it look like there's something new or big that hasn't been squezzed out of this campaign. Well I know CNN has decided to the age difference angle as maybe that is convincing voters to vote for Obama. The race thing is presently being milked for all it's worth so it's a case a been there done that for the race thing....Maybe HuffPo can do the fat angle. Maybe younger and educated voters are only interested in slimmer healthier looking candidates. There you go HuffPo your story angle for the next few days. "Americans vote 'thinner as better' in the poling booth".
